I check CNN's front page every now and then just to see what they're covering, or if they are covering anything important other than bashing Trump 24/7. The headline "Trump gets a taste for pulling the trigger" caught my eye. I was weakened by temptation due to the childish nature of the headline and decided to scan the article.
Then I saw phrases/words like this:
"In just the last week, the rookie commander in chief has presided over the use of some of the most powerful weaponry in the US arsenal"
"he is one President who relishes ordering the use of deadly force"
" in the United States, where Trump is politically beleaguered"
And this:
(People who hate him): "Democrats also however find themselves walking a fine line between seeking not to criticize their commander-in-chief over military action but questioning the rationale for his decision to do so."
snip...then this: (People who like him): "There was no such reticence from Republicans as the sight of a GOP president flexing military power offered a rallying point with a White House that has often had tense relations with its own party on Capitol Hill."
Then, finally (Thank God), this: "his parlous political standing, which has wobbled during his erratic first 100 days in power."
In a class on Journalistic Bias in the Modern Age, this guy's work should be held up as a classic example. In particular, I never heard the media calling Obama a "rookie". I have never heard or seen the word "parlous" used anywhere. The general public won't pick up a dictionary to discover the meaning (terrible writing). Wobbled? Really? For some reason, I don't see Trump as wobbly. I see him as steadily meeting the goals he promised he would meet without wavering in the face of never-ending fire from CNN. He is marching steadily onward leaving the bloodied journalistic corpses of his enemies behind him.

Just quit watching them, folks. Their bottom line will be reduced and your life will be better.
I wouldn’t worry about them. Few watch, and those who do watch for the specific reason that CNN echoes their beliefs and they are not about to be changed.
CNNs strategy seems clear: to be the rallying point for anti-Trump resistance. You may not like it, but it’s a strategy that probably will work for them (in a commercial sense, since CNN is after all, a for-profit business). If you don’t like Trump, that’s where you go, and when people do go there, it gives CNN a market the can sell to their advertisers.
Too many people confuse “the news” with private businesses that use a news/information broadcast format to make their money. You don’t think the local FM station is a bunch gang-bangers just because they play hiphop music do you?
Someone needs to stand up to these people.
Sort of like Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov mockingly slapped down NBC media slut, Andrea Mitchell, earlier this week.
Someone needs to punch them in the face.
Someone needs to book them on United Airlines.

And when they ask questions they always form it as an insult: “How do you have any credibility when...” and “Were you lying when you said...” and (my favorite) “SOME PEOPLE say you’re a scumbag- how do you respond?”
This is the usual flawed, incomplete and biased MSM approach to anything which succeeds WITHOUT them.
They are publically, and almost hourly writing an alternate, groundless and uncorroborated ‘script’ of the Trump Presidency.
INSTEAD of reporting on events or on the actual administration in the WH, this unwholesome and maladroit MSM pattern for dealing with their opponents only demonstrates HOW pathologically unfit and dysfunctional THEY are.
It’s too bad the NEA has so far hobbled Americans’ natural instinct for BS, that there is no longer any challenge to this MSM ‘reporting’ which wiser and less biased people instantly recognize as propaganda!

Isn’t the comment section for that purpose, to complain about the authors take? I know they don’t care, but if thousands of us do it everyday pointing out their “creative writing” skills, they might use less negative adjectives?
