Today I want to go out, I found my car was hit, I don't know who did it! But that guy leaved he information on the window. Then I called my insurance company and they told me that they will give the guy's insurance company notice, then the guy's insurance company will connect with me in 48 hours! Now I am so worried about what if they don't connect me, what should I do?
That just gives the car more character.
This is fairly standard. You were lucky that the guy left his info though.
If the other guy’s insurance company doesn’t get in contact with you within the time your insurance company said to expect them, you contact your own insurance company to notify them of that.
If his info is accurate you are one lucky guy.
Where were you going when you discovered the damage? Go there.
It’s a car-——relax-——could have hit a person.
.
Get a hammer and make the other side match. Then you can say it’s designed to look that way, like the Star Wars prequels.
Sorry, I don’t understand.:(
You should be able to call his insurance company yourself.
Better call Saul.
Up here in Boston, you get the right of way with that car now!
Ok, thank you.
Breathe.
If the at-fault driver actually left valid information, you're already ahead of the game.
Ah, so you're Chinese. I will help you understand better the American culture. As an example of what the phrase "gives it more character" means, think of a man. Scars, old age, make a man more handsome and interesting. That is called "character." This is also true for cars, as everyone knows. Most Hollywood celebrities have their cars busted up just like yours. It's hip. Cool. Radical, as we Americans always say.
LOL, I have visions of some guy in a cheesy 70’s era commercial with a yellow plaid bow tie or something...:)
I don’t know it’s accurate or not, but I called the police, and she said she knew that guy, and he live near me.
If the information isn’t good then you get to pay a deductible before they cover the damage. Usually $500 dollars.
I just parked it near my house from yesterday, and I want to go to CVS this afternoon then I discover my car was hit.
File a hit and run complaint with the local PD
