See my post at #40. I do see replies in his/her postings but not chatty.
I have made a couple of posts about you above. Excuse me for not including you in the reply but they were directed to others and I am not sure you care about the item I was replying to address.
Michael Wilner is known to be an exceedingly liberal journo at the Post. However: https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2017/02/02/statement-press-secretary
I really hope Trump isn’t cucking out on us. Israel can do whatever the hell it wants until the Muslim accept its existence as a going concern, not a temporary thing.
;-)
The American desire for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians has remained unchanged for 50 years. While we dont believe the existence of settlements is an impediment to peace, the construction of new settlements or the expansion of existing settlements beyond their current borders may not be helpful in achieving that goal. As the President has expressed many times, he hopes to achieve peace throughout the Middle East region. The Trump administration has not taken an official position on settlement activity and looks forward to continuing discussions, including with Prime Minister Netanyahu when he visits with President Trump later this month.
The Path Through the United States

This seems to be a really extreme example of the Evangelical cult of the mystical Jew, like John Hagee claiming that Jews do not need to convert to enter heaven. Unless you're Jewish, this Jewish supremacism is really bizarre. Outside of Jesus Christ, Jews are in the same position as any other group: unregenerate and condemned. Furthermore, the scripture is also clear that Christians themselves are the "Israel of God," having been joined to the body of Christ and therefore full-fledged children of Abraham, even moreso than the most pure-blooded Jew who does not believe. Jews, in the Biblical sense, were never merely about blood (hence circumcision), but about being children of God--which is not of flesh and blood.
Is Trump really on board Futility Airlines now? Why does every president have to go for the same impossible and multiply failed policy in the ME?
I certainly hope so.
Well I don’t agree with at least some of that statement. Israel is a sovereign nation and has the right to do as it pleases within its borders.
I hope Trump recognizes Israels right to settle or do whatever it wants to within its sovereign national borders and that he recognizes there is NO two-state solution to the Israeli- Palestinian conflict.
This so-called conflict consists of the Palestinians declaring Israel as a invalid nation and death to the Jews while Israel tries to peacefully manage its sovereign nation. It is not so much a conflict as incessant attacks on Israels sovereignty by the Palestinians and other Muslim nations who hate Israel.
The U.S. must stand on the side of her ally Israel, the only free and democratic nation in the Middle East, against all encroachments to Israel as a sovereign nation.
People will see what they want to see because of how things seem to them.
OK
Here’s the eclipse map of all eclipse maps:

Can’t help but notice the proximity of certain places to the beginning and the end.
Salem OR and Columbia SC
Salem = shalom (peace, Jerusalem); Columbia = dove (universal symbol of peace, name for America)

Speaking of Jonah,
Salem OR to Columbia SC
Run that through Google maps. The routes are 41 or 42 hours. You know that goes, if you’re really going to make the trip quick (but including sleep while NOT behind the wheel), it’s 14 hr days. Three day journey. 14 x 3.
Incidentally, notice Pres. Trump’s words — especially STOP ANNOUNCING! Pres. Trump didn’t say stop building them. I don’t know...interesting....
Well said.
“The U.S. must stand on the side of her ally Israel, the only free and democratic nation in the Middle East, against all encroachments to Israel as a sovereign nation.”
Correct.
I think President Trump is just being prudent here. He’d be the first one to admit that his job — especially when it comes to foreign policy — is far too complicated to manage as if it were nothing more than a series of campaign slogans.

Heres the first part of the White House statement:
The American desire for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians has remained unchanged for 50 years.
While we dont believe the existence of settlements is an impediment to peace, the construction of new settlements or the expansion of existing settlements beyond their current borders may not be helpful in achieving that goal.
May not be helpful is hardly telling Israel to hold off. And yet
But wait! Theres more:
As the President has expressed many times, he hopes to achieve peace throughout the Middle East region.
The Trump administration has not taken an official position on settlement activity and looks forward to continuing discussions, including with Prime Minister Netanyahu when he visits with President Trump later this month.
Okay with all of that, but none of the parties in the Middle East have been exposed to “The Art of the Deal.” They will ALL be surprised at what a non-politician brings to the table.
He didn’t say to stop the settlements. He said not to announce them.
