Well wait a minute. If he sent the letter to both Republicans and Democrats, then it is not a lie to say he sent it to the Republicans. Meaning of “is”, you know?
Yep - but if it was only sent to democrats, it wouldn't have seen the light of day - sending it to Repubs too meant the People get to hear about it.
