Time to start up a competitor for You Tube!
More Oligarchy - Facebook, Twitter, You tube, Google (same, I know), Apple, The Cheap Labor Express and the DC pols. This has to stop. There will be nothing left to save and worse, no means to save it short of civil war. Real, civil war.
The title sounds a bit over the top. I just checked the roughly half dozen gun channels I subscribe to. Happily they are all still there. Took a look at some other channels that I look in on now and then but don’t routinely subscribe to. They all appear to still be there. Not commenting one way or another on this particular incident since I don’t have the facts. It could well be a deliberate and malicious act by some anti-gunner with access to YouTube’s equivalent to the ZOT button. But I am not seeing any indication of any broad change in policy.
If that changes I expect that a lot of folks including me will leave YouTube for another uncensored venue.
I just did a search for “Sig P226 Legion” and came up with a bunch of videos. The one I clicked on had a 60 sec NRA ad before it with LaPierre.
Probably getting swatted.

There are MANY shooting videos on YouTube. Just go to the site and search for “guns”.
But, there is also the opportunity for someone to “report” a video. All it takes is a sufficient number of reports for a video to be deleted. It’s all automated, and there is no human filter unless someone objects and makes a stink about it.
In today’s politically correct environment, all it takes is one hyperventilating SJW to post a link to some place like DU, and you’ll get plenty of reports.
Why did he get banned? He got someone’s panties in a twist, perhaps because of some comment he made in a video, or a completely separate video in the same channel.
Guess they don’t want to show how street gangs with stolen guns are shooting each other or holding up stores and people.
The goal is to demonize then criminalize all legitimate uses of guns to justify taking them.
While leaving guns in the hands of violent criminals.
If they don’t pull Demolition Ranch, considering all the nutso stuff they do....

There is a vast number of Americans ready to do anything they can possibly do to insure, absolutely, that only criminals and terrorists have access to firearms.

I think Hickok45’s problem was that the videos he was posting on youtube were automatically being posted on Google+, and he didn’t know that. Youtube and Google+ have different standards and somehow that caused him problems with his youtube account.
