In March, a white award-winning broadcast news anchor in Pittsburgh posted on her professional Facebook page what she claimed was a heartfelt call to action on the perceived black-on-black crime epidemic in the United States, particularly in the city she’d covered for almost 20 years.
The post came two weeks after she covered a mass shooting at a backyard barbecue that left four people injured and six dead, including a pregnant woman, in Wilkinsburg, a majority black borough. The district attorney called the heinous crime calculated, planned and one of the “most brutal” he had seen in his 18-year tenure.

Things like this remind me of that play, “The Crucible”.
The facts remain: the number of black-on-black murders in this country is way out of proportion to their relative share of the population. And finger-point as much as you want, blacks have an internal problem that they not only refuse to fix, they won't even admit it exists. To me, it's the breakdown of the black family that is the root of the problem and it's augmented by a system of welfare and other transfer payments that encourages fathers not to be present in the home. Until blacks admit they need to fix the problem, there is no end in sight.
Funny how almost all the outrage was focused on Bell (a white woman) while the actual murders were shrugged off.
Whitey is not allowed to say anything about blacks and their epidemic of violence. Because Whitey is always blamed for it, even if Whitey is innocent.
The truth is unimportant these days.
Black commedian last weekend on TV joking about how great Obama is as a president. The underlying tone was, yeah he is a eff up, and its part of our culture.
No way I say become a success like I did through hard work.

Comments about the racist hatred and hypocrisy and the moral abyss of black culture are verboten.

This was not her “personal” page, she was representing her employer here. Without prior approval, she shouldn’t have stated their position for them.

Well, was she right? Were the murderers black and in their late teens to 20s?
If so - then slam dunk case. She was right. She used her years of journalistic experience to pull together the facts and make the correct conclusion. Rather than being fired, she should win another Emmy and get a promotion for showing foresight and investigative excellence!

Should some violence befall her, well, she deserved it. She noticed.
