You really should try to not ramble on for so long in your posts.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

My tablet uses Google, my computer uses Bing. I don’t care about the political affiliation of either, they both get me what I’m looking for.

I use Bing. They pay you when you search the net.

I know, right? I mean after the first letter or two I got so bogged down in the endless chatter and mindless narrative, I couldn’t even remember the original point! :0)

This is about a "honor" war between search engines. Google has nothing commemorating D-Day while Bing does. It's a silly exercise in frustration. Why bother?
To the complainers: Would it REALLY make a difference to you if Google posted some sort of tribute? Why do you waste so much energy on something that does not affect your life in any way?

I searched my computer endlessly and deleted anything that said “google” or “chrome.”
Been much happier since.

DuckDuckGo says that they will give the government everything they have 'on you' when asked. That's why I like them...
They don't collect or save any information on you." PERIOD!
They have nothing to give anyone. (as it should be)

I have rejected every effort of BING to install ... just because I didn’t like the idea of something I WANTED be tagged with something that I knew nothing about

I saw a Google Chrome ad once that featured ‘Justin Bieber-Musician’. One of the most blatant examples of false advertising I’ve ever seen.

And, every program update that has anything to do with Windows 10.

That’s the one I use. Never noticed anything other than their usual logo on their start page, but I usually use it as my browser’s default in its search box.
