Scroogle was good while it lasted.
I use google most of the time, but make it a point to never click on any of their Ads that appear in search results. That’s how they make money.
I don’t get ‘frustrated’ about it (rarely notice it until pointed out here)...more saddened that Google is exemplifying the lefty dream of promoting third world misfits and murderers, while ignoring traditional western history.

I hate to break it to you...but that’s not the only way they make money.
Try an experiment. Open Google, and search for ‘car air filter’,. just once. Then notice in the next few days how many ads for air filters pop up. Say a Fram ad pops up. Fram paid Google for your info, so they could put an ad in front of you. No clicking of the ad necessary for Google to make their money.
Use startpage and stop being tracked by google.

Ad blocker doesn’t prevent Google from making their money either. Fram has already paid Google for your info, before their ad is blocked. And Google is the genesis of more than just pop up ads...spam e-mails, spam texts, spam phone calls, and if you’ve got cable it can even customize the commercials you get there.
I use Google myself, so I’m standing in a glass house - but trust me, if you use Google, or an Android phone which requires you to have a Google play account, you are allowing Google to gather consumer/demographic information on you, which they sell.
So I support Google, as do you, even if unwittingly.
For those of a certain age, remember when searches were conducted via card catalog in library- asking librarian when lost for clue as to how to proceed- not for the faint of heart. Or better yet just looking thru the stacks.
