Larry David returns to SNL, rips into Bernie Sanders supporters

Larry David was back on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend to reprise his all-too-perfect Bernie Sanders character.

And despite Sanders's win in Michigan last week, the big joke was how limited his base of support remains -- and its propensity for shenanigans on social media.

"I want to thank everyone who voted for me, and apologize to everyone else for making your Facebook feeds so, so annoying," he said. "I mean, I love my supporters, but they're too much, right? I'm great, but I'm not five-posts-a-day great. With all due respect to my supporters, get a life."

David-as-Sanders then poked fun at the limited demographics of Sanders's base of support and his lack of support from Democratic superdelegates:

It's just plain cruel how the DemocRATS are giving Burning Sandals supporters the impression that their votes matter when it has already been announced that Hitlery already has something like a 500 to 25 super delegate lead.

It doesn't matter whether or not Sandals wins or comes close, the super delegates go to Hitlery.

Larry's a Bernie supporter, but as he said (probably for SNL's 40th?) The best likely outcome for him would be a Clinton-Sanders ticket, IOW, he doesn't and didn't think Bernie could win, and/or he'll always pull that party lever. Thanks Beave Meister.

I’m not a Bernie fan, but I’m all in on his desire to spread the wealth from the Larry David/George Soros class citizen. I could get behind confiscating substantially 90% of theirs, and other leftist billionaires (and most of Hollywood’s and Silicone Valley’s) accumulated wealth. I’m also fine with taxing them all at a 95% rate. Until these idiot high net worth extremists feel the full sting of their fevered desires, the money spigot will continue to finance infantile leftism.
