No matter what thread I’m on you just can’t help yourself from misrepresenting what I said. You don’t read what I wrote, you read what you would have liked me to said so you can attack me for it.
So what warranted that attack?
Show me where I said bagels were wrong.
Show me where I said they were wrong for Christians no less.

Or maybe you could try reading comprehension lessons and get back to me after you actually reread what I wrote and understand it.

I know you for a long time.
I simply said you were no fun. And that’s certainly true.

A study says the carbs in bagels can raise your risk for lung cancer.”
It is hard to believe that bagels would be any worse than eating a lot of white bread. As I understand it, though, one bagel is like four slices of white bread so there is a really big carbo load.
Bagels seem to be one of the delicious dense items created to provide sustenance. The others are: Beer, cheese and wine.

You know nothing and nothing of what you accused me of was anywhere near what I said.

Why are you busting on metmom? She's responded to another poster who has made a similar type post. She's not posted to you.
Then you go an make a stereotype statement about Jews and bagels.
Do you have definitive proof bagels, and only bagels, have kept the Jews alive for 2000 years?
Has anyone said it's wrong to eat a bagel?
Or is this another example of catholic charity??

I NEVER even mentioned religion and you go and make it about that.
You gotta stop the hate. It’s coloring your perception.

Try to find a sense of humor.
Another anti-Catholic on FR? How unusual!

If bagels caused cancer all the Jews would be dead. Get real!

Udis makes gluten free bagels. They are pricey but taste good. I've tried their bread, pretty good. The only brand I've liked. Expensive, $4.+ for a small loaf.
BTW, Krusteax makes a gluten-free pancake mix that is IMO better than the regular mix.

What did she say wrong? The people way back then were lots more active than today. My mom died a few months before she was 103. She grew up eating food with lard and just about everything people say is wrong for you. There was one huge difference. She was very active until she was in her 90’s. She had a garden and loved to grow things. I did not inherit her green thumb. Then last year, one of her cousins died and she was either 107 or 109. One of my hobbies is genealogy and I was amazed at how many ancestors lived until they were in their 90’s.
