Ted Cruz knows how to deal with lying behavior.
That's the message the Republican presidential candidate sent to supporters Friday during a campaign stop at a coffee shop in Iowa but his words set off the hypersensitive left.
Cruz was asked by an audience member what he would do to finally hold someone accountable for Benghazi.
The Texas senator complained that President Obama and Hillary Clinton engaged in "deception, obstruction and (a) cover up" and agreed with the audience member that someone needs to be held to account.
"You know I'll tell you, in my house, if my daughter Catherine, the five-year-old, says something she knows to be false, she gets a spanking," Cruz said. "Well, in America, the voters have a way of administering a spanking."

Liberals on social media, including Will Wheaton, didn't care much about the four Americans killed at Benghazi but were outraged at the idea that Cruz spanked his child, something that has been done since the dawn of human history.

The best thing about the 2016 campaign so far is that the top tier are simply saying the common sense side of reality instead of the politically correct left-speak nonsense. One campaign is built entirely on slamming PCism, Refreshing? Heck, yeah! However, being a bull in a china shop will only take you so far. That’s where brains come in. Trump may know how to game the system, but I think people generally know he’s the loud mouth at the barbar shop - we can agree with a lot, but we still know he’s a loon. Cruz is, was, and will be the man.

I have NEVER spanked my daughter, who will be old enough to vote in November.
We are very close and I couldn’t ask for a kid with better values, integrity and behavior.
I think spanking is at least stupid, and probably worse. I wish Cruz hadn’t said this.
But he’s still my first choice for President.
The real test of Cruz will be to see how he responds to the backlash. Trump would say “Darn right Hillary needs to be spanked....and she needs to be grounded as well.”

Not every child has to be spanked. Some won’t mind any other way. Out of three, two of mine had to be spanked a few times, but the other responded to a good talking to. Spanking is always a last resort.
From the anecdotes Cruz has shared, his oldest daughter is a real pistol. I would be willing to bet daddy has never spanked her. Same with my kids. Mom was the disciplinarian.
Good for Cruz... everyone needs to stay on this... Hillary is a liar.
