30+ years and this is still funny and relevant. Alan King does a great job educating us on the middle east. Great belly-laughing stuff.

Brilliant! Alan King was one of my favorite standup comedians growing up. His sense of satire and timing was priceless.

Remember when Reagan was president and it was all so far away...now obama is president and pouring blood in our streets and humiliating the civilized world.

Hahahaha! Had not thought about this, but it is true. Loved the title, “Middle Eastside Story”.

And the Middle East today is just as he described it in 1980.

Very appropriate for a Sunday night. Alan King was almost a regular on the old Ed Sullivan show which ran on Sunday nights. King always cracked me up.

We used to love it when Alan King was on the Ed Sullivan show on Sunday nights—how he made us laugh!

Here’s a routine of his—Survived by His Wife:

Alan King was one of the greats. He, along with Buddy Hackett & Don Rickles were among “THE” great Jewish comedians.

Funny how most youngster might know him from his movie roles, the last one of which I’m aware was co-staring with Robert Dinero and Don Rickles in “Casino.”

I believe that he could have been a very good actor if he would have pursued it. He did this mobster in Steven King’s “Cat’s Eye” that genuinely scared me - as an adult!

The first “Final Warning” that he did made me laugh so hard that I almost busted a kidney.
