Giant, glowing *Slow Down Cat* directs traffic in Sebastopol

Meet *Slow Down Cat*, the work of artist Patrick Amiot. *Slow Down Cat* is 12-feet tall and lives atop a kelly green Caltrans trailer that is parked along mostly residential streets where speeding tends to be an issue. *Slow Down Cat* is lit by solar panels and holds a sign that purrs, *Slow Down.* Naturally, *Slow Down Cat* is rapidly becoming Sebastopol*s most popular resident.

Slow is written too small and off center. You have to stare at the thing to see the sign. Eyes off the road while driving is a dangerous distraction.

Nice looking neighborhood for Russia. I thought that place was a dump, although I did hear that the Crimea was one of the better areas.
