Are Mideast Muslims Dying for a Myth?
American Thinker ^ | 10/08/2015 | Mike Konrad

Given the way the Mideast is headed, things are so unpredictable that this present Jerusalem flare-up could run the gamut from burning itself out in a few days to inciting a war against Israel, eventually bringing in Iran, the Muslim world, and then the whole world. The Arabs claim it is an Intifada, the Arabic word for resistance – but what is enormously troubling is the fallacy behind it.

Fueling much of this Arab fury is a renewed Jewish presence on the al-Aqsa Mosque compound. Over the past two years, Jews have started to gather outside al-Aqsa, and the Muslims see it as a land grab. Jews see it as reasserting their rights to worship on their sacred Temple area.

Even secular Israeli Jews have questioned whether these Jews should be allowed on the formerly Jew-free area. It only stirs up the Arabs.

Islam claims that, during his lifetime, Mohammed took a night journey on a flying steed, called al Buraq, to Jerusalem to the Farthest (al-Aqsa) Mosque. The irony is that, according to Muslim sources, there was no mosque in Jerusalem for Mohammed to visit. So why are they fighting over what never was?

Official Muslim history says Mohammed died in 632 AD – if one uses the Islamic calendar, the year 10. Of this, there is no debate among imams, mullahs, Shi'a, Sunni, Wahhabi, Sufi, etc. By every account, Western or Islamic, Arab armies did not reach Byzantine Roman Christian Jerusalem until 636 AD of our calendar, to immediately set a siege. The Arabs did not enter in until 637 AD, when Christians finally surrendered the city.

Almost five years after Mohammed's death. Five years!

Even were one to accept Islam, there were no mosques in Jerusalem until after Mohammed's death.

Bob Larson’s Book On Spiritual Warfare sums up a lot of different eastern practices. Interesting read. I had dabbled in the Occult as a youngster. I’m still recovering 25 years later. Keep your eyes, heart and soul focused on Christ.

Not only for a guy dead 1500 years. Imams all over the world lord it over their “flocks” for monetary gain, young extra wives, etc. They hold a power over their groups which very few Christian Pastors have ever held. Although there are a lot of splinter sect LDS and Holy Roller groups which do that kind of stuff.

“Keep your eyes, heart and soul focused on Christ.” That’s the key. On the rare occasion that I do go in for a massage, I wear my cross and we eventually end up talking about my faith as much as about reiki.

I also read an article recently that said that versions of chapters of the koran were found that predate Mohammed. Another religion that is part myth part history part truth.

What about the flying horse, did that exist?

No, it [the Koran] isn’t satan. It isn’t magic. It isn’t some supernatural origin.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While true (the writing of the Bible was done by the hands of men as well), the eschatology of Islam meshes well with the foretelling of the Beasts of Revelation.
Hence, it can be said that the Koran is inspired by Satan, which also makes the statement “the Koran is Satanic” true.
That was a mis transliteration ... the horse, was actually a hoss (a very big man) named Barak who just happened to be the leader of the assassins guild... it was Mohammad that did the flying off a very high cliff ... see how things get mixed up over the centuries and rumors become fact?
That’s because the mosque was build by a caliph when he moved his bored court from Amman to Jerusalem - then populated by a few Jews and goat herders. The mosque was built as a tourist attraction run by members of the court.
But, as time passed, they missed the pleasures of the big city and petitioned the caliph to move back to Amman. Jerusalem returned to its former goat paradise with a shinny mosque that no one used. It is all a fake.
I don’t care about them dying. I care about the people they are killing.
