I seem to recall that the WTC was only insured for one building. Something about the likelihood of losing both buildings at once. Also, I’d always thought that the WTC was Port Authority property. Is this wrong?

I don't quite get the Silverstein image. Is it implying that he knew of the attacks ahead of time, or that he shouldn't have collected the insurance money?

$4.5M seems a paltry insurance payout for what was lost.

Larry Silverstein took a lease out.....he did not own it.
More liberal nonsense to support the defense of radical islam by insinuating that 9/11 was an inside job.

I had no opinion one way or the other about conspiracy. I only remember what was said at the time about insurance and who owned it.....

$5 million was for the interruption to his development of the site and the lost revenues as a result of the attacks.

$4.5M seems a paltry insurance payout for what was lost. I think the insurance payout was $4.5 billion, not million. If I understand the situation, Silverstein didn't own the property, he had a long-term lease on it. At any rate, I don't see the problem here. If he paid premiums, he should collect on any loss.

$4.5B is a different story, but the graphic in the post stated $4,550,000.

Well, there was a long standing controversy. Not that it was insured for only one building. It was that was 9/11 two events or a single event. As a single event using two planes to attack the WTC he would be reimbursed for a single event of a terrorist attack. If the two planes were deemed as separate attacks he would then be covered for both attacks, both buildings.
I can't recall for sure, but in the end I think the ruling was that it was two separate attacks.

the commuter railroad lots in southern Connecticut were littered with cars waiting for drivers who would never return. The policy was to tow cars abandoned or left but these cars stayed for weeks. It was strangely poignant.

I got the $4.5B figure from the Wikipedia article on Silverstein. That figure was the figure the courts awarded him in an insurance dispute.
My concern here is that there seems to be an implication that Silverstein (a "Jewish" name) had some sort of inside knowledge.

Unfortunately thats incorrect. I think it’s fairly obvious that the world, certainly the American voter, didn’t learn a damn thing.
