As a New Yorker, I am highly offended by that pizza. Not because it’s “racist” or anything like that. But no pizza shop in NY should be selling an abomination like that. Fried Chicken? Watermelon? Goat cheese? Bleu cheese? A sunflower seed crust? NONE of that belongs on a pizza.

Agree, strongly. Personally, if I wanted to have some delicious Southern cooking, I would go get some delicious Southern cooking, not put some evidence of it on a slice of pizza.

This guy seems innocent of whatever he’s insinuatingly being accused of though. As others have pointed out, it first reminds one of Yogi Bear whose pronunciation was based on Yogi Berra’s Italian-American pronunciation. At least they’re spelling his pizzeria’s name right and increasing his sales.
