For those in the NE who haven't made the trek to Knoebels w/ your kids, do it! Free parking, free admission. Great family getaway run by a great family who meticulously maintain their rides.

Ride the Phoenix and you'll spend nearly as much time in the air as on your seat.

These vintage cars are made of steel, not fiberglass. You hit someone good and they're going to feel it.

There is just NO comparison to a traditional roller coaster ... they coast and roll ... up and down and around .... and don't make you cry for mommy and puke

Thanx, Joe

Here's Phoenix' companion at Knoebels - Twister.

This coaster throws you all over the place - read the comments. People are afraid of it!

The sugar bowl had me wonderin' WHEN it would straighten out, but all in all .... ANOTHER fun classic

I never rode these and don't know if I ever will, but if I EVER get to that park ... I will

I saw the first climbout with another track above and wondered, "What engineering marvel put THIS together" and I was happy to see how it came back on itself

I LOVE roller coasters

While I fully appreciate the beauty and form of a wooden coaster, I just cannot tolerate the ride.

OTOH, for us, Top Thrill Dragster is the BEST "coaster" in the world. No longer the fastest nor tallest but it is still the BEST! We have also been on KingdaKa (same ride design but slightly faster and taller). That ride was so jarring and uncomfortable that it made TTD stand out as a superior experience.

YMMV!

Nice! But I'd rather be on it in that front seat! Of all the coasters/thrill rides we've been on over the years TTD is the only one where we purchased the "official" picture of us in the front seat.

Wanna go back...NOW!
