Wambach is a native of Rochester, NY. This morning's (Gannett) rag, ran a picture of her that was the entire width of the paper, from the fold up.
The caption - Abby Wambach wins the World Cup. Not the "US Wins the World Cup" - Wambach did it.
She didn't even play much more than 30 minutes the entire tournament.

Oh well, for all her domestic issues, at least Hope Solo is heterosexual.

Factual error. Abby Wambach is not married.

I found this severely disappointing, as much as I like the US women’s soccer team, about 3 of them are frustrating to me, Wambach is one of them.
So, the majority seem okay.

Looks like the US Women’s Soccer Team licked their opponents.

Owing to increased exposure in the media, particularly on TV and in advertising, plus the large endorsement deals now available, I believe there are fewer lesbians in women’s pro sports today than in years past (golf, tennis, beach volleyball, soccer). Still a problem, but less than it was. A premium today on not only being an elite athlete, but also attractive & fashionable to sponsors and fans. Pro basketball is an outlier, but who knows in the future.

All gay, all day, everyday, from now on.

Once the “wife” realizes that Wambach is a has been in women’s soccer, she will dump Abby when there is no money.
Not a big market for dykes in promoting products.
To: Slings and Arrows
She doesn’t have a wife. She has a partner in depravity.

Next time you hear someone carping about the disparity in revenue and viewership of women’s sports compared to men’s.....this is the reason why.
