What happened to Daniel Craig? I’m not a big Bond fan anymore but I did think he was the best since Connery.

They should look at re-making some of those tragic Roger Moore-Bond movies that had good story lines but the comedy/sex ruined them and by the time they were done it nearly ruined the whole Bond experience.

And NO Louisiana Sherifs this time. I thought I was watching Smokey and the Bandit instead of a Bond movie.

They brought him back in The Man With the Golden Gun, and had him vacationing in Thailand.

He did a great job playing Richard Winters. And he is British.

For those who haven’t seen him in an American series called “Life”, where he played a police detective, you can get it on streaming. I saw it on Netflix or Amazon.

I remember thinking he was very athletic when the part called for it - and didn’t seem to be all editing either.

No he's not. So miscast that they had to cut the scene where the private dick here hired to get evidence of his wife's hanky-panky is describing "the vistor" (actually Soames himself) because the written description didn't match Lewis (actually was a closer match to the actor playing Joylon)

Eric Porter was the one true Soames.

The Craig Bonds are stripped of CGI and gadgets!. In fact Skyfall makes a joke of this.

Most of the ‘toughness’ was CGI. Waaaaaay too much CGI in Superman for me.

Maybe, but Cavill was ripped and then some. He could play Bond easy. And play it dark and tough.

Sorry. Cavill was a bit metrosexual for me. I actually don’t mind Craig, but the next one needs to be a bit more broody and dark. Smouldering.......that will get us ladies into the movie theaters!
