Freeman Dyson, an award-winning British scientist and retired professor of physics at the Institute for Advanced Study, said that the science on climate change isnt at all clear, and in fact, humans are actually helping the planet. [
]
Well, what I would like to emphasize is that human actions have very large effects on the ecology which have nothing to do with climate. Carbon dioxide is what were producing in big quantities and putting into the atmosphere, Dyson said. It happens to be a very good fertilizer for all kinds of vegetation, good for wildlife, good for agricultural production.
So it has many benefits, Dyson said, and this is something you have together with the climate effects, which are much less certain. So its a question of drawing a balance. I'm just saying I dont understand it, and neither does anybody else.
I'm skeptical, because I don't think the science is at all clear, and unfortunately, a lot of the experts really believe they understand it and maybe have the wrong answer, Dyson said.

Dyson's book, Disturbing The Universe was one of the most influential books I have ever read. This guy is no lightweight. Reference a Dyson Sphere.

The impression I get is this guy is too big for the hustlers to take down, so they just ignore him.

"If carbon dioxide is so bad for the planet, why do greenhouse growers buy CO2 generators to double plant growth?" They're dupes of Big Carbon.

I’ve been saying this for years. Plants thrive with increased CO2.

I love this guy. He’s brilliant. He can get you to Mars in 3 weeks (Google project Orion). And he designed the Dyson Sphere(and Google that)

Freeman Dyson is indeed on of the heavy weights in the "science community". Besides the Dyson Sphere, he worked on the Orion Project- boosting heavy payloads into space- in theory using atomic explosions and has had a very productive career. There was a nice little biography of him and his hippie son called, "The Starship and the Canoe ". He's going to be making some enemies with this statement on global warming. It will be interesting to see how the media and the "climate scientists" either ignore or malign him.

I’ve dropped Dyson’s name when The Science Is Settled discussions pop up. Anyone who responds with “who is he?” can be safely discounted as too scientifically ignorant to debate with.
To: TigersEye
Of course, such models that base their projections on an atmosphere that exists nowhere on Earth are doomed from the start.

Plants happily lap up the co2 that animals exhale. Plants return the atmosphere to equilibrium when the amount of co2 goes up.
So plant more trees and shut up about global warming.
