Most of our heroin now comes not from Asia, but from Latin America, particularly Mexico, where poppies grow well in the mountains along the Pacific Coast. Mexican traffickers have focused on a rudimentary, less-processed form of heroin that can be smoked or injected. It is called black tar, which accurately describes its appearance. Cheaper to produce and ship than the stuff of decades past from Asia, heroin has fallen in price, and so more people have become addicted.
The most important traffickers in this story hail from Xalisco, a county of 49,000 people near the Pacific Coast. They have devised a system for selling heroin across the United States that resembles pizza delivery.
Dealers circulate a number around town. An addict calls, and an operator directs him to an intersection or a parking lot. The operator dispatches a driver, who tools around town, his mouth full of tiny balloons of heroin, with a bottle of water nearby to swig them down with if cops stop him. (Its amazing how many balloons you can learn to carry in your mouth, said one dealer, who told me he could fit more than 30.)
The driver meets the addict, spits out the required balloons, takes the money and thats that. It happens every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., because these guys keep business hours.
The Xalisco Boys, as one cop I know has nicknamed them, are far from our only heroin traffickers. But they may be our most prolific. As relentless as Amway salesmen, they embody our new drug-plague paradigm.
Xalisco dealers are low profile the anti-Scarface. Back home they are bakers, butchers and farm workers, part of a vast labor pool in Xalisco and surrounding towns, who hire on as heroin drivers for $300 to $500 a week.

Wouldn't that much heroin kill him almost immediately?
Balloons don’t break on an empty stomach. And can be passed or vomited out.
Only if the balloons burst.
In balloon form they would just lodge in the gut until a couple of bowel movements down the road (unless one or more burst).
It didn’t indicate if these drivers are using this system in Mexico, or instead HERE.
???
So you’re staking your life on balloons not bursting in the stomach area? Uh-huh. I don’t know how much these bozos are paid but it ain’t enough.
So literally your entire life is dangling on the strength of a latex balloon. Crazy.
Gives new meaning to the phrase: “Wow, that’s some good sh%t!”
Read something about Russia last year: That their second highest product of export was heroin Mostly to Europe. Haven’t been able to confirm Would you know anything about the subject ?
Would certainly explain why the Cremean was needed to complete the trade route if so? And why O didn’t interfere....
Making it fun for people to install a horn under the hood that makes that little cop siren chirp.
This is a horrible, horrible situation now! Bad news big time!!
I think that the only solution is to have a federal law on the books that everyone caught transporting/smuggling and dealing in heroin [in Any Amount]- receive automatic LIFE sentences with no parole!!
It is so cheap it is now a very popular drug for the young (and stupid). And the infected needles are a huge problem too.
Propaganda.
Most of the world’s heroin (and the US being a big chunk of users) comes from Afghanistan.
This purpose of this propaganda article is to purport that American street heroin somehow does not come from Afghanistan.
The elites own both sides of the heroin industry, legal and illegal.
There’s an article with information on this which you can find by searching for the article title...

This latest article about heroin "serving all our needs," whether knowingly or unknowingly, describes the wonderfully inventive entrepreneurial spirit generated by the colossal profits available from the drug trade. The second article describes the intrusion into the home and the school caused by the war on drugs and the third article describes the increasing corruption in our law enforcement agencies inherent in prosecution of the war on drugs.
Three times in three days and I am willing to bet we can do this four times in four days and five times in five days and so on as we mindlessly pursue a policy which is corrupting us, bankrupting us and addicting us.
Is it free if not delivered in 30 minutes or less ?
Addictions are a screaming red flag about a spiritual problem.
You don’t put the fire in your house out by removing all the smoke alarms.
and you don’t save souls by passing legislation.
You can legitimately try through government force to avoid some of the grosser evils. Shedding of blood is among them. The pattern the Lord has left for civil government is inherited from the instructions Noah got after the Flood, which left Noah as the father of all mankind to be.
The government does not need to be as strict as “the church” about this in order to do substantial good.
Our present government gives us the conundrum that it wants to be part of just about any action. Therefore not to be anti heroin would be to be pro heroin... you can bet Uncle Sam would love the taxes to be had. That’s almost as bad. Laissez-faire outside of the Noahide imperatives is not in his playbook any more.
Interesting article, whether from Mexico or Afghanistan heroin is rampant and seemingly our Dear Leaders have done nothing to stop it and everything to spread it.
I remember a few years ago that blacks made the assertion than the inner cities were flooded with drugs by the “evil whitey” government. Now it is destroying the rural areas. Kinda makes you wonder.
