There was a time when even mentioning Infowars or Alex Jones here at FR meant the thread was pulled. Sent down the memory hole stat. No exceptions.
I put the odds at 50/50 that this thread will stay up. Depends on who’s moderating.
We need to train people to CHECK EVERYTHING. It’s never good to accept information at face value. How many internet myths circle our mailboxes that have been roundly debunked, yet here they come again.
Because we are basically honest we tend to trust people. There are too many untrustworthy folks out there.
The government schools are not interested in teaching critical thinking to most students, because they really want to churn out drones that will work at crappy jobs and vote democrat without thinking about it. If it isn’t taught to someone when they are young, forget about it. By the time they are a teenager, they are probably too set in their ways to change.

It gets kind of confusing sometimes. I mean neo-nazis,Obama and Islam, the leftist media, the militant/gangsta blacks and even leftist Jews do not like the Jews?
By your own words AJ has been proven correct on a number of issues. Just yesterday, he was proven to be correct about TSA hiring pervs who like to abuse the traveling public. The lsm are often forced to confront the issues he brings up on his program. Infowars leads the news cycle often, that is why Drudge links to him.
Is he egotistical,bombastic? Of course he is. But do you think he would be able to have so many deeply loyal reporters and staff for so many years if he was a fraud? Do yourself a favor, look up the word muckraker in the dictionary.
I suspect Inforwars has the most zotted web site posts on FR. Most of the posts I’ve seen here for Infowars involved nutter tinfoil hat stuff with no attribution as to legitimacy of the claimed event(s). I’ve personally requested such zots many times myself.
I have noticed that a lot of leftists come on to certain sites and then start up with such stuff. you can tell as they also dot it with faux news, and they say the racist stuff in ways that actual people who believe that dont talk like. ie. they speak as they imagine those people are, not as they are. the whole idea is to make people not want to go there, either for the content, or under the belief that the people that read or come are like that.
you will see a GREAT example of it...
and CBS is not like inforwars...
so you have this agent provacateur troll that comes on and tries to pose as a racist, or a holocaust denier, and so on...
however, infowars does not filter whats acceptable to print (so to speak) so there is a lot of conspiracy stuff there as well as news that can get in the way of the news... just as these provacateurs get in the way of actual dialogue..

Me personally, I`ll follow links to stories wherever they go, but double check the veracity of the data or leads. I believe you NEVER chain yourself to a handful of sources, I don`t trust ANYONE that much!
I don’t like Alex Jones or Infowars, ever since their “kill Michelle Malkin” fiasco.
I wonder if they’ll pull the syndicated broadcast radio show Infowars off the air soon? Wasn’t Charlie Sheen a buddy of Alex? Didn’t Alex appear on The View? Why do Alex Jones and Rosie O’Donnell haarp so much about the Gulf of Tonkin? Why are pot head posters so verbally combative?
I don’t think that outfit should even be a topic of discussion here.
