A former Utah State University fraternity president is accused of sexually abusing a woman at a fraternity party.
Logan police arrested Ryan Wray, 26, on Tuesday night on suspicion of forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony.
During Pi Kappa Alpha parties at the fraternity house, which is off-campus, people who "could no longer take care of themselves" were placed in Wray's care, said police Capt. Tyson Budge on Wednesday.
"Several of the girls got talking and realized that they may have been taken advantage of," between last October and now, Budge said. One of the college-age women gave a statement to the police, and Wray confessed "to inappropriate touching" during a police interview, Budge said.
Wray was booked into the Cache County jail, and has since bailed out.
USU spokesman Tim Vitale confirmed that Wray is a former president of the fraternity, but could not say how long ago. A school administrative hearing for Wray was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon — but as of Thursday afternoon, the school had not heard from him, Vitale said.
The national fraternity suspended Wray upon learning of the allegation, said Brent Phillips, Pi Kappa Alpha's senior marketing officer.

Okay, given recent hype and false charges, I am not sure about this.
Bunch of women getting together, yakking and collectively coming to an agreement that they “may” have been taken advantage of. . .nah. . . .not buying it. Maybe true, maybe not, but pretty weak charges.
Thing is, absent proof, the guy is now smeared and how can he prove a negative? How can he prove he DIDN'T take advantage of them? Conversely, the mere suspicion of taking advantage of drunk women is enough to convict. . . or possibly the women have visions of receiving a huge buy-out from the fraternity (and university).
Famous black TV star systematically rapes dozens, or perhaps hundreds, of women, over a period of nearly 50 years, after drugging them -- but our top story is, frat houses are hotbeds of sexist white privilege.

i am sorry but that is their problem... or it should be... why should they get to behave that way and not be held accountable for it?!! you drink too much, don't know when to stop, or don't care to stop and maybe you get abused or raped... those are natural consequences... take care of yourself!
