The all time stupidest penalty is puck over glass. They need to get rid of it, once and for all. Too many men is providing an unearned advantage. The other is just dumb.
we are currently experiencing a snow event. appears to be sticking to the grass. i think they forecast a dusting to 1-2 inches, to cover all of their bases.

Yeah, I said to our department admin that I could live with every winter day like this. It’s sort of snowing a bit, but not sticking to any paved surfaces. It’s above freezing. Might have to brush the car off, but no real harm.
it should be a penalty bc while it’s not always used as a delaying tactic, it certainly could be. they are often looking for every little bit of breathing room that they can get when they are stuck out on a shift.

it was 36 deg out a bit ago. its a pretty snow. the roads are def treated this time, there was visible salt on there when i took the pup to school. will have to go and retrieve him this afternoon.

If you want to argue for “decriminalization” of the offense, it would need to be treated like icing. Same idea. It’s a foul caused by excessive zeal in wanting to clear the puck. Faceoff in your zone, no substitution of players.
