That is just returning the carbon previously removed from the systems outside the body.
The plants removed CO2 from the atmosphere in the first place. You either eat the plants, or you eat the animals that eat the plants.
No carbon is created or destroyed in the process, just moved from one location to another.
You have to appreciate what a boon this is to those of us who have been dieters for years. Next time someone gives a chunky person a dirty look for eating something the smug thin person thinks he shouldn’t be eating, he can say, “Hey, I’m saving the planet!”

Rather than make fun at the who and why of / for this article, I'm amazed no one ever articulated this before.
I've often wondered where it CAME from .... fat (belly fat, for me) just seems to happen and no matter how careful or diligent I may be ... the belly fat is either smaller or larger ... but it is just there !
NOW that I know HOW it is transformed and into WHAT, I can better evaluate the situation and maybe .... just maybe ... begin to not look so eight months pregnant.
