That’s remarkable. The usual custom is a former pro with too much money will open a bar and grill, maybe a t-shirt shop kiosk or two. Tim does it his way, a way available to anyone else with the means. Good for Timmy.

He needs to closely vet the people who work there. Recall what happened when Oprah opened a girl’s school in africa a few years back. There were numerous charges of physical and sexual abuse from teacher to pupils. She may have sold the whole damn mess. Madonna had a difficult time too, with a school she funded and let other’s manage.

In the article it says: “The football star turned TV analyst,” so I was just wondering when he went from football to TV announcer.

He didn't "quit" football. He was pretty much shut out, partly because his faith made people uncomfortable, and partly because he didn't consider another role than starting quarterback. Hey, nobody's perfect, and what imperfections he has are more than offset by his faith and desire to live it. The analyst job was an opportunity of which he took advantage.

The liberal sports media was always after him. No teams wanted the negative press that the libs would try to smear him with. The left always tends to pick evil and hate good.

Agree. Our wealthy do not always have to leave the US to give to charity. We hear on the radio everyday about hungry children in America.
