PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The fate of a little-noticed ballot measure in strongly Democratic Oregon serves as a warning to President Barack Obama and his party about the political perils of immigration policy.
Even as Oregon voters were legalizing recreational marijuana and expanding Democratic majorities in state government, they decided by a margin of 66-34 to cancel a new state law that would have provided driver's licenses to people who are in the United States illegally.
Obama is considering acting on his own, as early as this week, to possibly shield from deportation up to 5 million immigrants now living illegally in the country. Some Republicans in Congress are threatening a government shutdown if the president follows through.

So what's the problem? After Obama grants them amnesty through executive action, they won't be illegal anymore, and it'll be perfectly acceptable to issue driver's licences.

In recent years, many states, including a number of liberal states, voted to define marriage as a man and a woman.
The liberal activists don’t care. They went to court to get liberal judges to declare marriage laws unconstitutional.
The same half baked reasoning can be used with illegal aliens. Once they have legal status, the courts will overturn laws such as this Oregon law banning illegals from getting driver’s licenses.
He’s just one of many in the Soros(and others) New World Order plan.
It should be noted that not many earlier, Oregon voted in a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage by the same margin. But the court . . .
liberals are on the wrong side of this issue, I know MANY life long democrats that are very angry at the prospect of amnesty.
Democrats think they won ... they think they can read the minds of people who didn’t vote - and that those people agree with them. In short, Democrats are nuts. They’ve crossed the line to ‘crazy’.
