Dog shot dead by SWAT team during alleged dispute over neighborhood dog waste

• A small dog was filmed being shot by advancing police officers in Racine, Wisc. on Saturday after police were called about violent threats made by the dog's owner, said a neighbor. Police Chief Art Howell said the owner threatened to kill the officers with an armor-piercing crossbow before setting his dog loose.

A SWAT team sent to handle an alleged neighborhood dispute over dog waste ended up killing the dog, and igniting a firestorm of criticism against the local police force.

In dramatic video capturing the end of Saturday's hours-long standoff involving Racine, Wisc. police, a small dog is seen being shot dead by a line of approaching officers moments after set loose.

Neighbor Kim Polk described the shooting as the result of one irate resident refusing to pick up after his dog when confronted by her, and then violently threatening to kill her own pooch.

It was that threat, first with a bow and arrow and then with a machete, that she said led to her family calling 911 and a SWAT team approaching the man's home.

“And the logic is; ‘the man was a threat so they shot the dog.’”

Dogs tend to follow their owners’ personalities. In this case, a crazy guy’s (likely) crazy dog was put to sleep. Put a leash on yourself.

Did you see the dog? Really not much of a threat. It might bite at you ankle but a swift kick and the dog runs off.

Of course, citizens far outnumber the elites’ paid enforcment arm.

That is what the elites fear and thus the elites have tasked law enforcement with developing lists of all avid users of firearms.

This is very similar to the impressively infamous data processing implemented in Nazi Germany using IBM-supplied equipment, as well as the less impressive but no less ruthless data processing in other elite-sponsored police states.

The database of threats is essential for the elites so when they issue the order a town or city can be “locked down”, and more typically when the order is given to selectively eliminate threats it can be methodically carried out.

Unfortunately, if we the sheeple react to this strategy that is slowly being implemented by direct force confrontation, we the sheeple play into their hands. Such actors provide the elites with justification not only for using our justice system against the actors themselves, but also the rationalization for far more unconstitutional, immoral, draconian gun registration, gun restrictions and data collection.

However, if we the sheeple take our own governments back in elections by electing our own puppets, then, once in power, roll back the use of SWAT teams, gun restrictions, gun databases, etc., we are operating legitimately within the law in the same way the elites usurped our government from us. Using that approach, town by town we can take our American government back, and use it to defeat the elites through vigorous prosecution, confiscation, etc.

It’s not any particular candidate that we can come up with that is the key; it is the political machine that we come up with that will enable this strategy to work. Such a political machine would have to cross all party lines and be covert, in the same manner as the elites’ machine works.

Such a local multi-armed political machine must be lead by a purist (not corrupted by the elites), loyal group that sticks together no matter what is thrown at them. Such groups must be able to think creatively, plan and execute. It is imperative that they purge out any leadership that is surreptitiously working for the elites. Such activist groups would need to operate in and influence different aspects of society, the same way the elites do.

Here’s the response from the police chief:

“After the dog was released, the dynamics of this encounter changed. Officers, who for over three hours were focused on peacefully resolving this crisis through dialogue, were now forced to deal with the distraction and unpredictability of having the subject’s dog moving through the scene of this active encounter at a critical time,” Howell continued.

The dog weighs what, 3 pounds? It got how close to them, 5 yards? They were all wearing what, thick combat boots? The dog was headed in what direction when it was shot, away from the cops?

This story is almost incomprehensible.

Constant “small dog” reference. Then a pix of a Cattle Dog puppy (real puppy, not the 9-mos kind).

Then statement saying the Cattle Dog (Heeler) was THREE YEARS old.

Not a small dog. Small compared to a Rott, maybe.

Anyway, the owner sounds like a nut. I do not think it sounds like the police had to shoot the dog, but I have little sympathy when the owner is causing this major barricade and disruption himself. What was he meaning to do by threatening to “release his dog”? Did he honestly think the dog was going to be a threat? Doesn’t sound like it. Sounds like the dog just ambled around - which I am not sure the police had to shoot.

This other woman had a reference to her dog, who apparently did not get shot, so the “bad cop” mantra kind of loses its power, never mind the lock-down story.

I really don’t know what to think here.

OK, finally watched the video.

Seems over the top to just shoot that dog.

But the hysteria from the “filmers” - screaming like a banshee, cussing, screaching - a bit over the top, too. You’d think 9/11 just happened again.

I hate these situations. Yet ANOTHER reason I do not have neighbors, but have big-breed dogs.

AND I make sure I stay under the radar of local law enforcement. :)

All dogs go to Heaven.. All people, not so much.

Cops who murder innocent dogs are COWARDS.. with EVIL on the side.

Why is it people like Cesar Milan and Mark Levin remain silent on the SLAUGHTER of INNOCENT dogs? I just don’t FN get it.. Do they not understand that all cops are not saints? Are they afraid to speak up? Where are the damn men in the police departments.. Why do they not speak up against the cowards amongst them? MSM does not FN care either! It’s beyond Sickening!
