The Wattan,tv headline is: Emirati Mansouri family disowns their daughter Mariam for participating in the United States bombing of Syrian targets. Mariam Al Mansouri: Female Pilot Disowned By Family For Bombing ISIS Terrorists In Syria, Inquisitr, September 25, 2014 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
The Mansouri family also called for support for the Syrian revolution, calling for all factions and battalions operating on the scene Shamiyah to unite and join forces and efforts to a single goal, which is to drop the Assad regime. The family also appears to have announced support specifically for the ISIS terrorist organization, saying that their family is honored heroes of the Sunnis in Iraq and the Levant. The ISIS terrorist group is also known as ISIL, which stands for Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, although its possible this similarity to the ISIS name may be a Google translation error.

She should respond “I know where you live”.
She might not want to go home for Christmas...
She’s welcome in my house.
Its not going to work. If they really were “good Muslims” as defined by the 6th Century, Dark Ages dogma that most of the militants follow, the family should have disowned her when she became a fighter pilot, or when she decided to go to school to get an education, or when she decided that she doesn’t want to go around wearing a body bag as her clothing.
Saw that coming
Isn't "dropping the Assad regime" American policy as well? This is so confusing. If only we had a President.
It’s good news she’s been disowned. Now they won’t need to do an honor killing of her to uphold the reputation of the family, because she’s no longer family. “I wouldn’t want to be a member of any family that wouldn’t want me as a member.”
Of course she is being disowned. And will probably be threatened with death
It does not matter, in the ideology of islam, the family will be beheaded if caught, despite their words.
I mean this family raised a female fighter pilot, that in and of itself demands islamic retribution, if they can't hide they are doomed.
Yes, I find it curious that some woman from UAE (which one?) became a pilot? Is she in the cockpit w/a man who isn’t her husband? Are we sure about this story’s truthfulness? Or are we being fed falsehoods about what the Saudis allow women to do and not do? I thought they couldn’t even drive a car but they can drive a plane?
I warned that making her a ‘story’ in the media would put a bulls-eye on her back - looks like it has - and it will stay there until she’s gone - GONE-gone
And the UAE is supposed to be a “Moderate” Muslim country.
They hate everyone so I don’t think there is a differential in who they hate. May the One True God of Israel protect her, if she so asks.
2A Sistah!
Armed, trained, and Practiced.
I don’t know if they are logical enough to think that way.
“Shes welcome in my house.”
Same offer anytime in our home. We have a spare master bedroom with its own bath.
Hey! Knock it off. I saw her first!
The most significant accomplishment towards gender equality in the UAE, and even the region, is most visible through womens participation in the military. Pursuant the 1991 Gulf War, Emirati women expressed a desire for preparation in defending their country. Subsequently, the Gulf regions first military college for women the Khawla bint Al Azwar Training College was established along with a womens corps within the Armed Forces. Females are granted the same training and responsibilities as their male counterparts including serving as fighter pilots, but are prohibited from serving in front line combat

Now that's funny...LOL.
