"Your Daddy Was Drunk And Your Mama Was Lonely" [My Country song, now with audible vocals]
Me, via YouTube ^ | 9/20/14 | Me, as "Hopalong Ginsberg"

Howdy All,

When I first posted my song "Your Daddy Was Drunk And Your Mama Was Lonely" on FR, a number of whiny so-and-so's thoughtful critics commented the the lead vocals were too soft.

They were right.

Accordingly, I did a remix with the vocals MUCH more up-front. If you couldn't make them out before, I'd appreciate it if you'd give the song another chance. If you could understand them just fine, well, give the new version a listen and enjoy your feeling of superiority.

If you want your own copy of the song, click here or here. Clicking here will not get you a copy of the song, but you still might enjoy it.

Lastly, in the interests of tradition:

I've got a few new songs in the hopper, and I'll record and publish them when time and pharmacy school permit.

I’m a patient man,

you know I am

but you’re pushin’ me to the limit

Imagine a picture

Of me and you

Only you’re not in it

You don’t see that many cats playing through a Marshall stack these days. I would have figured a Super Twin Reverb.

And twanging on a Telecaster, you betcha.

You say you were wrong, to ever leave me alone

Now you’re sorry, you’re lonesome and scared

And you say you’d be happy, if you could just come back home

Well here’s a quarter, call someone who cares

Students of my oeuvre have interpreted it thus.
