Wikimedia, the non-profit organisation behind Wikipedia, has refused a photographer’s repeated requests to stop distributing his most famous shot for free – because a monkey pressed the shutter button and should own the copyright[.]

Part of that wacko movement to give monkeys “rights.” Liberals hate to admit that humans are above animals.

That’s a good shot, and He’s smiling. Looks better than about 3/4 of my yearbook shots.

Hilarious photo! The weed induced thinking over at Wikimedia look just as sophisticated.

They really do. The great victory of the Left in the classroom, particularly colleges/universities, was the abolition of the study of man. English departments abandoned Shakespeare. Philosophy departments abandoned the great philosophers of the past. History departments blotted out Western Civ, Christianity and the Christian God.

I hate to think of all the heroes who will die when the gods of the copybook headings return and of all the weasels who will live safe from the front lines.

Maybe the photographer is worried about the competition.

I really needs to be said? Monkeys are not people. They cannot own stuff.

The copyright belongs to the photographer.

This is silly.

If that’s the quality of shots monkeys are putting out these days, perhaps he should worry. If we hired that monkey for the DMV the photos on our drivers licenses would all look a lot better.
