I don’t think there is any harm in doing this, if it is in fun and no real information is exchanged.

I suspect that getting 9 year olds to talk about dating was better life education than prescribed politically correct drivel. Not exactly orthodox but hardly a waste of time for kids to begin to think about this. Maybe they learned a bit about picking a winner instead of a loser.

An adult should not be discussing their personal life with children.

I get the feeling had it been a man talking about his escapades with teenage boys at the local fetish bar, everything would be fine.

If she had been asking about choosing between two women lovers she would have been promoted.

Actually, the 4th graders probably will make better choices than her. She is an actress after all.

While role-playing is certainly a great way to engage students, I cannot imagine being sympathetic to a substitute — or to anyone dealing with children — who chose such a subject for role-playing. I am guessing this perv was starting out at grooming these youngsters for more advanced perversion. May she burn in hell.

I substituted for a couple of years. I spent all my time trying to think of fun ways for the kids to learn - to fill in the time for after the teacher’s lesson plan was done. It was a lot of free time since the lesson plans were so short.
