Drive them out of business.
What else is new? Liberals always lie to get their way.
Most of the uninformed American people don’t know anything much about the GS either.
All the more reason to explain to the little girl scouts the REASON you can’t, in good conscience, buy their cookies-—and, do it before other people wanting to purchase the cookies. Educate THEM, as well.
“All the more reason to explain to the little girl scouts the REASON you cant, in good conscience, buy their cookies”
Because if I buy these Thin Mints in a GS box I will be putting a dead baby in a dumpster box.
When the little girls come to your door give them the website for American Heritage Girls. (Christian alternative to Girl Scouts)
And now Commie Obama wants Universal Kindergarten for all of America’s “bunch of kids.”
I find this article difficult to read, hard to follow. And what is it you’re asking of social conservatives, and WHY?
Should we be berating girl scouts who come to our door saying, “your organization supports killing babies”?
It simply isn’t clear. You need to be VERY clear when it comes to such things. Please clarify.
You can find the answer in your own tag line:
“A person’s a person, no matter how small”
“Universal Kindergarten”
How can obozo do this? To have a Kindergarten one first must have kids to attend it. Obozo and his crowd wants them all aborted.
It seems pretty clear to me what they are advocating is a boycott of Girl Scout cookies. That means not buying them.
yahbut why? Clarity is a virtue on this point.
Obama’s “bunch of kids” learn from the Liberal Kindergarten teachers about the birds and the bees, grow up sexually liberated, abort whenever, and later go on Federal Welfare, or keep their “bunch of kids” to support themselves with unlimited Federal Welfare, well until the Female time clock stops working.
What better way to insure that there will ALWAYS be more than enough Decadent Democrats to keep voting in Decadent Socialists to control Federal power?
Ain’t Obama’s Plantation Politics the be all, end all for all of America’s “bunch of folks?’
BTW, always remember that each Law and Regulation was enacted with the intention of doing good - - - - .
then it is such a poorly worded article that someone like me who feels so strongly on abortion can’t make heads nor tails on what the author intended.
A: Girl Scouts of the USA does not take a position or develop materials on these issues. We feel our role is to help girls develop self-confidence and good decision-making skills that will help them make wise choices in all areas of their lives.
Parents or guardians make all decisions regarding program participation that may be of a sensitive nature. Consistent with that belief, GSUSA directs councils, including volunteer leaders, to get written parental permission for any locally planned program that could be considered sensitive.
Q: Does GSUSA have a relationship with Planned Parenthood?
A: No, Girl Scouts of the USA does not have a relationship or partnership with Planned Parenthood.
Q: Did GSUSA distribute a Planned Parenthood brochure at a United Nations event?
A: No, we did not. In 2010, GSUSA took part in the 54th Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations. Our participation in that conference was the subject of numerous internet stories and blogs that were factually inaccurate and troubling. Girl Scouts had no knowledge of the brochure in question and played no role in distributing it.
And your point is????
Again. It simply is not clear what this author is writing nor requesting.
I’m glad you can see it. But your response doesn’t exactly enhance clarity when that’s precisely what I have asked for.
Hope this helps:
This is from the thread article:
” - - - LifeNews.com Note: Jill Stanek fought to stop live birth abortions after witnessing one as an RN at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois. That led to the Born Alive Infants Protection Act legislation, signed by President Bush, that would ensure that proper medical care be given to unborn children who survive botched abortion attempts. - - - “
As you can see, even her bio is disjointed.
IMHO, the author is:
* writing with high emotion
* skipping important connecting thoughts
* relying on hotlinks, images, and code phrases to fill out her article
* assuming that we agree with all that she has written.
Summary: Not a good article “to read in front of a writing class.”
Thank you. I would have had to click through to the article and risked all the downloads, spamware, malware, and whatever else + pursued much of the website in order to know what was being said.
IMHO, the author is:
* writing with high emotion
****I don’t mind that as long as the author makes sense.
* skipping important connecting thoughts
***The key missing ingredient. Even someone with a prolife tagline doesn’t know WTF she’s saying.
* relying on hotlinks, images, and code phrases to fill out her article
***Unfortunate. She has something important to say and it’s lost in all that.
* assuming that we agree with all that she has written.
****It sounds like I agree on the vast majority of what she writes, and yet she can’t connect. That’s a tragedy.
Summary: Not a good article to read in front of a writing class.
***Sad. Very Sad. If Girl Scouts catch me this year, maybe I’ll ask them if they have heard of this author before I buy a box of overpriced mint cookies.
