What’s the insignia on the helicopter’s nose? It looks like a bear holding up a cub.

Talk about memories.

I’ll never forget my first day in RVN and my first ride in a UH-1, or for that matter a Caribou, a C141 or a Chinook.

Real fighting men willing to die for their country, as with all the armed forces of our history.

EXCEPTION. Today’s armed forces are dumbed down, neutered, feminized, wear the French beret, and must now conform to all levels of the lefts agenda. Won’t be long before a white surrender flags and shorts with rear trap doors become standard issue for the individual soldier. This statement is not intended to show disrespect for those still serving that still believe in defending the Constitution and our way of life and to those risking their lives daily in war zones.

Can’t find a reference to it, but I’m sure some FReeper knows...

As the father of a two-tour Army Ranger, I can assure you that today’s military is just as strong and committed as ever. Have faith.

I sincerely hope you are correct in that today’s military is just as strong and committed as ever.

When I see some news footage from Afghanistan and like places I tend to believe I should have faith.

But when I see in the MSM how the left is transforming and purging the armed forces I get a real sick feeling.

The same sick feeling when I hear of police brutality, see the militarizing of police uniforms, unnecessary shooting of people and dogs, etc. Essentially the same stuff we discuss here on FR.
