Uncooked ‘McRib’ Photo Takes Internet by Storm

Thanks to the dubiously identified "buddy" of Redditor DJDanaK, the world now knows what "raw McRib meat" looks like, stripped of its plush bun, special sauce, and sliced onion. Since many manufacturers produce boneless, mechanically separated "rib" products, the exact provenance of this particular mystery-meat specimen is the subject of ongoing debate deep within the Reddit trenches at this very moment.

My response: So what?
I can tell you from experience that those are either freezer burned or the color is washed out by the flash, they normally have a pleasant pink color. And yes I agree, so what? They are processed pork and extremely tasty when cooked! Are people repulsed by those boneless turkey breasts in the store? how do they think those come into being, boneless turkeys?

It’s flash frozen and covered in frost, even a porterhouse looks bad like that.
McDonald’s has some of the best QC in the world for mass produced fast food, I’ll trust them over a local mom and pop burger joint not to make me sick statistically any day of the week.
Make mine with extra bbq sauce and onions no pickles and I’ll take 2.
