From having lived in Western Michigan, I suggest a blue Grand Rapids/Kalamazoo/Benton Harbor blue corridor. It would cut down the crime rate in the rest of MI significantly.

The problem with this is that the other side can do the math as well. They aren’t going to agree to a change that is going to cause them problems.

I love how all of Illinois has seceded from Chicago.MO should have 3 blue dots... The greater Kansas City area, the greater St Louis area, and in the middle of the state, Columbia (university of MO).

Of course many millions of libs would like a separate country as well, but the problem is they'd have a very high percentage of bottom-feeders of all ethnic groups leeching off their screwy economic system. The Marxists running Amarxica would exact onerous, confiscatory taxes on all the rich libs who at first would be glad to be rid of all the tobacco chewing, pickup truck-driving, gun happy, conservative bible thumpers.
Inside five years, the few producers from lib Amarxica would be screaming and banging their fists on the 100 foot high wall that keep residents of Amarxica out of the constitutional/free market-minded America begging to be let inside.
Tough luck rich libs. It will cost each and every one of you half your total wealth (if you can keep it from getting stolen by the Marxists running your country) and a sworn statement swearing never to engage in redistributionist, anti-constitution, anti-free market policies ever again on pain of death.

I had no idea that there was such nice big red chunk in southwest Oregon Maybe that is where I should retire. Come and take a look at least. We're very red out here.

We can thank a fifty year old

you would find that north FL would want to leave too, actually those 3 liberal counties in the south east have been wanting to leave our state for some time.

Those Red Areas forming their own nations(s) would instantly be the freest and wealthiest nations on earth.
They have food and energy.
And like the suburbs , get flooded with inner city Dems that abandon their failed policies to work tirelessly to repeat their mistakes.

The libs talk the talk, but they also recognize that parasitism doesn’t work without a host. So when it comes down to it, they’ll oppose any state that seeks to leave. More importantly, no state will be allowed to leave. Any state that makes an attempt will be characterized as being in insurrection, and it will be put down without mercy.

You think the state of Jefferson would be a red state? Hell, yes. Get out of the LA, SF and Sacto metro areas and much of California is a sea of pissed off, abused, normal folks.
