A ground-breaking, new high-luxury residential tower, emblematic of contemporary and revolutionary architectural design, is showing signs of being the most anticipated project in the history of Miami Luxury Real Estate. The Porsche Design Towers, slated for erection sometime in 2016 on 2.2 acres of beachfront property along Collins Ave in Sunny Isles, will be one of the worlds first residential condominiums to have large glass elevators that transport residents-while still inside their cars- to their apartments.
As residents arrive at the building and switch off their engines, an automatic platform will extend, scooping up the car and placing it inside the elevator. Once at the desired floor, the same platform will park the car, leaving the resident at their front door. This ostentatious feature of the tower will allow residents to see their cars on display from their living rooms. This feature was born from the minds of car-enthusiasts Gil and Michael Dezer, the father and son duo known for their bold and over-the-top condominium developments.
Construction isnt even underway and already Dezer has sold more than half of the towers 132 units, which start at $4.5 million and top out at $32.5 million to 22 billionaires. Last month, the project received a $214 million construction loan from Wells Fargo, the biggest loan for a new condo in South Floridas post-collapse real estate market.
Residents will discover the utmost pleasures of a privileged lifestyle at the $560 million condominium, enjoying amenities such as private swimming pools on huge terraces, outdoor kitchen and sitting areas, and private elevators opening into the residences. Other proposed features include a stunning oceanfront swimming pool with a landscaped deck, two sunset plunge pools with spacious outdoor decks, resort-style food and beverage service at the pool and beach, full-service oceanview Spa and Fitness center, a recreation area with a private theater room, and much more.
Makes it really easy to take over a building with all of them in it.
What could go wrong?
if lots of people want to leave at the same time...?
the power’s out you may walk down stairs somewhere, but no vehicle outside.
God forbid one of the pancake lifts fail or tip the wrong way.
Should be interesting to see what happens when some old lady hits the gas instead of the breaks.
That’s... interesting. Mostly democrats?
Miami is basically hurricane central. I wonder how this building would hold up to an Katrina or Allen?

I'll bet that as a practical matter, the elevator will not be used for daily drivers. You'll use it to bring a Ferrari up to your place and leave it there a while while you drive the Mercedes that's in the lot.
You want to live because no else can.
Just like Jupiter Island...
I want one but, on the West Coast.
I cannot stand Miami, West Palm, etc between March and November.
Too freaking hot.
Stayed at the Breakers for a party, in June and thought “Kewel!! My room Ocean side. I’ll just let the breeze in”
Skip that! Closed the door and cranked the air conditioner.
It would be great if they just had a spot out back for the old school bus which stores the overflow, the hounds, and the worm growin bucket.
Still better than DC or Philly where it’s 100 degrees all the time in the summer. I don’t think it’s ever been 100 degrees here in Jupiter. Ocean breeze does it’s job in keeping temperatures down just like the Gulf Stream does it’s job in keeping water temperatures up.
I see you paid for the aftermarket headlamps.
I'm just guessing here, but I doubt too many billionaires worry about getting to the office on time. They can afford to have the office come to them.
It's spelled H-U-R-R-I-C-A-N-E.
It sounds a little tacky to me. I mean, you drive yourself? Your car is parked in the living room?
Can't help thinking about the 1st Diehard movie, where the crooks took over an office tower and held everyone inside hostage. How many Billionaires did they say had already bought in?
