Can you tell the difference between a quote from one of history's most infamous revenge-seeking megalomaniacs and Adolf Hitler? Plenty of people couldn't. This "Hitler or Taylor" joke started with a Pinterest user named Emily Pattinson, who juxtaposed pretty images of Taylor Swift with quotes from the "real Taylor Swift." The results are inspirational messages like this:
The problem is ... those aren't Swift's quotes. The quotes Pattinson was using actually belong to the likes of Hitler, Osama bin Laden, and Joseph Stalin and no one noticed. Pattinson's most popular post, as Buzzfeed points out, has 277 "repins."

I don’t know much about Ms. Swift, but she’s the #1 reason I don’t tune to the country music station on my way back and forth to work.
I can’t stand her singing or songwriting and it seems like the local country station plays one of her shrill ramblings every other song.
If I wanted to listen to the whinings of teenage girls, I’d get a job driving a high school bus.

The problem is, that teenage girls listen to the whinings of teenage girls, which is why they sit next to each other on those buses. They also buy a lot more CDs/Downloads than folks like you.

Seven out of ten. Not sure if I’d recognize Taylor Swift if she bit my leg.
I devised a similar game, “Ist Es der Führer order Gephardt?”
They really are hard to tell apart. Take a quote from Mein Kampf, or Dick Gephardt, exchange “working families” with “die deutsche Volk” and “the Rich” with the “die Juden”, and they are eerily similar.

I did it real fast - 4 out of 10.
The NSA has your scores the moment you finish.
Anyone 7 or above will have their home and work addresses added to the automated patterns that the drones fly and all your communication will automatically jump two levels in the algorithm that queues up work for analysts tracking individuals. Of course, the algorithm at every step matches against new world order people (government employees, foundation members, Wall Street manager and above, etc.) and eliminates them from the monitoring lists, since there’s no need to monitor them as they’ve already been mentally neutralized.
Oh, and Taylor, Nature is not the best instructor, the Word of God is.
Idolizing, worshipping, etc., nature is paganism.
Modern country music - entertainment whores for the modern Babylon.

I'm sure that's true, but I've often wondered if it is cause or effect.
I have plenty more disposable income than a teenage girl, but I don't have a lot of time to go hunting the web for new music.
The main way I hear new music is listening to the radio while commuting - if I heard something I liked, I'd probably buy it, but most of what I hear is crap (re: Taylor Swift).
I have to say I'd buy a lot more if I heard a lot more that was worth it. Sometimes I wonder if it's a self-perpetuating truism that the kids are the ones driving the music market - it could be because it's been years since anyone's tried a different approach, and an awful lot has changed since then.
I like music just as much as I did as a youth - probably more. I have more disposable income to spend and better equipment to listen to it. But it's rare that anything comes out that's better listening than the music I already own. Maybe that's where the kids have the edge - they don't have personal libraries to fall back on.

“Quit comparing me to Obama!’’ Yeah. At least Hitler wrote his own book and he did get the Olympics to come to his country.

You have 7 of 10 answers right.
You know your stuff. In fact, might know too much about Hitler or Taylor Swift.
Really it was mostly a matter of parsing out the subtle way in which language has changed over the last 80 years.

From the article:

If Hitler were alive today, Taylor Swift would be his favorite singer.

Amusing, but, of course, the 1936 Games were awarded to Germany years before the Nazis came to power.

Although Taylor Swift’s music doesn’t appeal to me....comparing her in anyway to Hitler is sick. Swift gets a lot of flak from the socialist media because she has what us older folks would call “a good reputation” which leads to her short romances.
