If the 2016 Republican Primary was held today (assuming We the Conservatives don't form a third party out of disgust), who would you like to see as the nominee to face Hitlery Clinton ?

And if it was, you’d see it outlawed in virtually every red state immediately.

Cruz, Paul, and Lee are in safe seats anyway, where we could elect solid conservatives into those seats. Snowe has retired by the way. She was replacd with the creepy zombie, Angus King.

Yes, a courtesy vote on Cruz would be likely.

Rand Paul has said some things (I’ve heard him) about having de facto amnesty already and why don’t we do comprehensive immigration reform like we want.

Sorry, I don’t want reform; I want enforcement. Rigorous, punitive enforcement - that’s all.

If I were to pick today, I’d have to say Cruz is the one for me.

ABSOLUTELY NO: Rubio, Christie, Jeb, or anyone who even knows Karl Rove, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell or the rest of that GOPe Regime trash.

Been too medicated for too long. snowe completely slipped my mind. Thank you.
As for the safe seats, before the last election, did you think there was any way obama would be re-elected?
The way the game is played now is so corrupt and so filthy, nothing and no one is safe no where.

Either Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin or Allen West.

Strangely, if he were indeed an announced candidate in 2016, I would vote for him without a doubt. Nobody, I mean NOBODY has Levin’s focus and intelligence.

I just don’t see new rats being elected in deep red states in the near future. Look at how the last of the so-called ‘blue dogs’ are retiring or being shoved out. Mark Pryor is going to lose his seat in Arkansas to a barely minted House member in 2014. He’s already behind in the polls and he’s a family name.
The only reason Alison Lundgren Grimes is doing well in Kentucky is because everybody hates Mitch (which is why he has to be replaced)

The flipside is that in blue states, its getting harder and harder to defeat Democrats. Remember, there was a time when Minnesota was competitive. No longer.

why not both
Palin/Cruz
Cruz/Palin

Agree on Cruz, disagree on Palin. The better route for Palin would be to win the Senate seat in 2014, establish national bona fides, and run in 2020 if Cruz loses, or 2024 if he wins. Running for VP twice would make her a has-been, and running for POTUS in 2016 will be too soon to overcome her "I'm a dumb cluck" reputation with the low-information public. It will take another 6-10 years to establish a good reputation in the eyes of the low-information public, just as it did for Reagan in the 1970s.

Ted Cruz opined that natural born citizen does NOT mean born on U.S. soil but means, a citizen WHEN BORN, which he views as the opposite of becoming a citizen by going through a naturalization process.
________________________________________________

so does that mean that an anchor baby, the child of 2 not under the jurisdiction illegal aliens , if he/she was “born on US soil” is eligible to be the president of the United states, having no connection, regard for or loyalty other than the US was the birthplace ???

BTW the father of Ted Cruz was not an American citizen when he was born...

The Islamics are running the White House, the Democrat Party.. No woman will get to be POTUS if they can stop her...

Now that's something I hadn't thought about. That might shake up everything.

The same Allen West who voted in favor of the indefinite detention without trial of American citizens (NDAA 2011)?

The same Allen West who voted in favor of redistributing wealth to the Black Caucus and their constituents (the Pigford USDA vote)?

The same Allen West who publicly stated on Facebook he wants “Justice for Trayvon©”?

The same Allen West who did such a pathetic job on contesting the fraudulent election that it cost him his seat?

The same Allen West who was shown The Cold Case Posse’s evidence on the forged Obama birth certificate, the false SS #, and the phony Selective Service Registration, said he agreed with the evidence 100%, he thinks the documents are forged, BUUUUT ....he said he would not publicly endorse the findings “...because I want a future in politics”?

THAT Allen West?

Okay, it looks like Palin and Cruz are front runners - if they run, Although those are my first choices, I’m gonna throw some names that haven’t been mentioned (that much):

SC Gov Nikki Haley: Say what you want, but she has been taking on the libs and the RINO directly and fighting against the feds the whole time. She should be considered a dark-horse who could shake things up in a primary.

ME Gov Paul LePage: I have a relative in Maine who’s a died in the wool socialist who (along with all the other dems) hate his guts. That alone tells me he’s good. Get’s in liberal’s faces just like Christie, but apparently, not that much of a RINO.

WI Gov Scott Walker: Politically, I’d actually put him at front-runner status.

NM Gov Suzanna Martinez: Go ahead, call her a RINO. But she ain’t on the GOPe’s top ten list, and not my first choice, but if the battle’s gonna be about identity politics as well as ideology, she could take some of the heat off the GOP with the changing demographics.

LA Gov Bobby Jindal: Clearly has leadership skills, pro-business, and conservative creds are pretty good. Yeah, they’d bring up the “not and American” thing, but since these things apparently don’t apply anymore...

Just my $0.02. Again, it’s obvious both side fear Palin the most, and an West/Jindal/Cruz/Paul VP slot would send the dems into a conniption fit.

I changed my vote from Mike Lee to Ted Cruz.

I thought it would be fun to exercise our 2016 Primary muscles. Why not ?

Ted Cruz has impressed me from the first time I heard him speak and every time since
then. He would be the polar-opposite President of O'blameBush in every way.

Don't sell Trey Gowdy short either. He is a strong Conservative as well, dedicated to
the Constitution and the rule of law.
