Today being the day of Pentecost in the church year provided the inspiration for the pick for today's feature, the 1981 miniseries concerning the early history of New Testament church. Fascinating bit to check in the second part at 1:09:50 to 1:11:06 where they actually read Romans 1:24-27 outloud. That would NEVER happen in a Hollywood movie today.

We are thankful that a cable channel even had a tv miniseries this year on the Bible.

I have this on dvd. It is a great movie and well worth the watching. Anthony Hopkins is superb as Saul/Paul, and Foxworthy is exceptional as Peter.

I meant Foxworth. Foxworthy is American Bible Challenge.

I watched 10 minutes of it and had to turn it off. Can’t any movie makers be true to scripture?
