Its a mistake to think the institutions will restrain an out-of-control president. On the contrary; they are full of careerists who will do whatever they are told to do and say whatever they are told to say. They’ll make sure their reports will read just as they are supposed to read. You aren’t going to hear of many FBI agents resigning and refusing to serve this president.

Loughner was a liberal left winger all the way. I, among others, used to debate and lock horns with him on a political message board for years up until a few days before the shooting. His user name was his first name, Jared, and his avatar was a pic of himself with a full head of hair. A couple of days after the shooting, the moderators of the board went to great lengths to remove his account and his posts. (I’m not sure if they managed to delete them all, or missed a few)
