I am just curious since Beck seemed to be very popular on FR and has seemed to have faded away.
I pay to watch his 5pm Beck TV internet channel and find it very difficult to trade concepts with other fans.
Too dramatic for me. Good guy...but...
Cry me a river....
I just started listening to him again in the morning and I think he is great. I haven’t listened to him regularly since 2004. I have not been able to check out his cable channel but it sounds like they’re doing interesting things.
Can’t afford it until I get a job. I only catch a few glimpses on YT.
Your river can’t extinguish my Blaze. Big fan here!
I listen to him sometimes on his radio show. But he gets very boring, especialy when he was crying about his dogs the other day. his humor is not funny. I wish he could stay on topic.

His radio show sounds like giggling teenage girls. It’s unlistenable. No way would I pay to watch him on TeeVee.
I’d watch but I just can’t afford one more bill.
I’m prodding my cable provider to pick his network up though.
I forgot to duct tape my head years ago and it blew up...
He did good work exposing ACORN and Obama’s czars, but delving into too many dead-end conspiracy theories wrecked him.
Beck burned his bridges with conservatives campaigning for Romney in the 2012 primaries. If he had simply argued for Romney, that would have been one thing, but he and Romney trashed conservatives in a way that they never trashed Obama.

I watch. He’s one of a bunch of people I follow. But I don’t have to agree with him 100% anymore than the others. I make my own mind. So on some issues I sometimes don’t agree. But he is an interesting guy. His Blaze TV is good.
You can tell, I hope, that while I like him a lot and I agree with him 85%. There are a few issues I disagree with him on like the BC issue and his take on some social issues. But I am okay with that. He has done some very interesting shows. I hope his channel can get on more cable outlets.
I follow some people that people here at FR don’t or that they might have their own issues with, I guess. I have been following Dana Loesch, Rusty Humphries, Steve Deace, Jerry Doyle, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh and others. But mainly those.
Well aware people don’t have the time to follow everyone too.
So essentially Beck campaigned for Obama after campaigning against him?
I’m waiting for the day he admits it was all a spoof that went horribly awry.
I grew tired of two of his sayings:
1) “Something huge is come real soon. Trust me folks.”
2) “I was saying this [x number] of years ago.”
Item 1) never seems to materialize.
Item 2) he never plays audio of his predictions to verify his claim of predicting.
Oh, and every show was used to hype up his next annual event, prepetually.
It still bothers me as to why he left Fox. I miss ole Glenny
now I read where Sirius radio is picking him up. I don’t have it I’m still using a crystal set. Whipper snappers don’t ask.
Yeah, Glenn Beck seems to have gone the way of Howard Stern. There they were for years, every day on the radio and / or TV, always accessible, regularly in the news, and then... poof! Gone. Gone to pay radio or pay TV or whatever.
I listen to his radio show almost every day.
Can’t you at least give him some sympathy ratings? If you don’t the whole world will collapse!
I will also add I like him. So don’t get me wrong. Glenn Beck has done some very interesting TV shows. It all depends on the show and topic if I agree and what he says. But I like him and I follow. The woman who tried a new thread on his show at this site quit after nobody was coming to it except me occasionally and she had computer problems. I personally, like to dip into what various people are saying to learn stuff. So I follow different shows and from time to time try to listen to them. Since I have a account for The Blaze I replay his show when I can if I am not around.
Glenn rubbed a whole lot of people the wrong way when he appeared to act like he was the Godfather of the tea party movement. It’s “leader” or something.
Hard to follow...skips around way too much. I see this on FOX news...Slow down...stretch...speed up...slow down...
Beck’s expose of the “global warming / carbon credit” scam was one of the most brilliant series of shows ever aired, IMO.
I should also add I read his Blaze website. And that Andrew Willkow is another show on the blazetv worth checking out. But I boycott Real News over S.E. Cupp being on it and Jedidah Bila leaving.
I did not hear him campaign for Romney during the primaries. If he campaigned for anybody, it was Rick Santorum.
Yeah Glenn Beck has been against Global Warming for years. He did a powerful show on it at HLN.
agree... and his crying and drama... I have never liked his style. the giggling at their own bad jokes, I don’t care for that. Give me Mark Levin, Rush...
I’ll watch some of his segments if they interest me, but my dislike of him and his staff has grown exponentially after this election.
A moderate loses the election, so Glenn decides conservatism has lost, and now libertarianism is the way. How many votes did Gary Johnson get again? Oh, never mind. Glenn goes wherever the wind blows. He also has S.E. Cupp on, and she lost all credibility when she went running to some liberal rag to complain about Rush.
I couldn’t help myself.
Dana Loesch is on the show right now. She seems to be aligning more with the Blaze TV since leaving CNN and Breitbart. She will be with show all this week.
Second that. Rush and Levin are essential for me nowadays. Hannity’s okay when I’m in the mood for nothing very intellectual, but he needs to stick to interviewing Cruz and the like. We don’t need to hear from Whiplash McCarthy or Tokyo Rove... ever again.
I haven’t ever listened to Savage, but I laugh for some reason when Levin starts trashing him. It’s hilarious.
“While you were off skinny dipping with Allen Ginsberg, or whatever the hell it was you were doing.” lol
His plagarizing of other conservatives....and his attacks on Obama Eligibility folks...is why I stay away from Beck. He basically helped Obama get reelected by attacking Birthers...and that was the last straw
Lightweight copyist. Fake.
I noticed that Beck started peaking about a year ago.
He still has a following, but it’s not there like it
was 4 or 5 years ago. I think that’s what’s called overexposure:
He had his finger in too many pots, and became something of an “institution”-—the same phenomenon happened to Rush, but
Rush continues on stronger than ever, and has a deeper connection to his listeners than Beck ever did.
I liked his Fox show, and always tried to catch it. But I’ve found it more and more difficult to overlook some of his annoying eccentricities since then. I’ll turn on his radio show, and he’ll be joking and in fits of laughter with his buddies... then in a split-second, he’s so gravely apocalyptic and bordering on tears... then, a second later he’s hawking something like a spy-novel he wrote.
I just can’t take that kind of weird, emotional whiplash. Something really offputting about it. Spastic and unmanly. It turns me away. Even when he’s offering a lot of very valid info and commentary.
Interestingly enough, the cult of personality, sadly exists among liberals and conservatives alike.
Post a thoughtful thread that requires some reading and context in order to advance the discussion, and you get virtually no feedback.
Post a thread the mentions a conservative or liberal celebrity and you get a boat load of replies.
My post was a test.
I have found that most people, including folks here, are more interested in the “one off” shot.
Gotcha or clever cynicism seems to rule.
I am certainly guilty of this myself, however I need a platform that allows for the free expression ideas that are respectfully debated and shared.
I’ll read what he writes but he’s too excitable for me to listen to him anymore.
Slow motion train wreck.
I’ve tried, but he is too much of Drama Queen for my taste.
I leave that job to Mrs. Beck.
I prefer to listen to his radio program when he has a guest host, because I can’t stand cry babies.
His tv show is very educational. I don’t agree with everything he says or believes but I know he loves our country and the Constitution.
