That's what I thought....

But got me thinking...asparagus would be good too!!

I love asparagus!!

Funny story....when I was a kid in SoCal...we had this big tree in the backyard. I hated that tree because it shed leaves...that I had to pick up...and it dropped slimy hunks of fruit.

Never really cared what they were back then....Hass Avo's!! Heck nobody really back then ate them much....

It was a good climbing tree though...!! : )

Yes, but why do you ask? It is rather entertaining since so many people generally profane sardines as some kind of low class food stuff.

I prefer packed in chiles with olive oil or tomato sauce and chiles.

Best with whole wheat saltines.

When I was growing up my favorite snack was sardines, saltine crackers and a hot cup of tea. That would be black tea with sugar and evaporated milk. Yum!

Smelts are the best!! Caught so many of them when I was a kid. We fished for them at night—— attracting them by flashlight. I want the ones in your picture!!

Why can’t we get fresh sardines?

And to your question -— yes I like sardines. Right from the can, or all dolled up.
