THIRTEEN years ago, researchers at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum began the grim task of documenting all the ghettos, slave labor sites, concentration camps and killing factories that the Nazis set up throughout Europe.
The researchers have cataloged some 42,500 Nazi ghettos and camps throughout Europe, spanning German-controlled areas from France to Russia and Germany itself, during Hitler’s reign of brutality from 1933 to 1945.

Thanks for posting this. I hope that this serves to increase the sentiment of ‘never again’, and makes us all even more vigilant to the seeds of tyranny that they would be burned before they sprout.
This, this is why we have a 2ND Amendment and why we must be willing to fight and bleed if necessary to keep it.

Ironic that the NYT supports the same social policies of the Nazi’s.
Heck I was in their building as saw one of their senior writers dressed in an outfit which was basically a nazi dress gray uniform minus the actual insignia. The pants even had the enlarged thighs (the riding trousers).
There is nothing more we can do as far as punishing those who are guilty. But we can update our history so that a more accurate account is recorded.

Interesting that the NY Times published this article. Unless I’m mistaken, didn’t the Times have a major role in covering up these actions WHILE THEY WERE OCCURRING?
“Never again” has a nice ring to it but since 1945 it has happened again. It has happened in Russia, China, Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and on a smaller scale in places too numerous to list. You are right to be worried about protecting tradiional American freedoms. Especially since the vile Obama clown parade is leading the people on the downwad course that makes such atrocities likely.
The Times still has no interest in the camps and gulags run by their friends, the communists, over a lot longer period of time and murdering many more people.
This is the latest comeback on even the most shocking news. Hillarys response on the deaths of Benghazi that could have easily been prevented “What does it matter now”. The same haughtiness of Marie Antoinette.
