Robert Byrd Memorial Interstate and Toll Booths.

"Hurricane, W. Va.its nickname is probably the Windy City." Oddly enough, I have never heard a nickname applied to Hurricane. However this town is just down the road from Poca, WV whose high school sports teams are nicknamed the Dots.

He wasn’t running because of the items he stole from the shop, he was a wanted fugitive over bank robberies. This only happened because we arrest bank robbers, the problem will go away when we make bank robbery legal.

Yes, its sad. I also feel bad for the truck drivers who is mixed up in it through no fault of his own.

Ideally, they’d drop the late senator’s name from the Interstate.
But keep it on the toll booths.

I’m surprised he didn’t get votes

The police have dashboard cameras. Those cameras can record a license plate. Run the number and hunt him down at home. That won't work if the suspect is driving a stolen vehicle.

I was stopped at a red light one day when a high speed police chase went past me in the next lane. It scared the hell outta me. A few miles down the road, I came upon the wreck and about 20 blue lights. As I made my way slowly through the scene, I rolled my window down and asked one of the LEOs doing traffic control what they were chasing him over?
DUI.

Thank you for the alert Morgana. I’m sorry for being so late to respond. I had not heard this because I’ve been tied up since Wed. with cataract surgery that took me to Columbus Thurs and Friday and recovery is still taking place. Going to work today but would rather stay home. Oh well. It’s too bad that people try to run from police. They should know by now they can’t get away.
