PIEDMONT, Oklahoma -

A 3 year old gets his mom in trouble with the law when he gets a ticket from police. Now the little boy's mother will have to pay thousands of dollars for what the toddler did in their own front yard.

Dillan is being potty trained. His mother says he wasn't playing outside and wasn't near the facilities, so he unzipped.

News 9 was told before he could pee, a Piedmont police officer stopped him. It's a bathroom break that cost mom $2,500.

"Dillan pulled down his pants to pee outside. I guess and the cop pulled up and asked for my license and told me he was going to give me a ticket for public urination," the boy's mother, Ashley Warden, said.

There’s always some little oddity that comes out about Oklahoma...... Not kid peeing outside, rather LEO making a deal out of it.

You may be right or the peein 3 YO ws blocking his line of fire on the kid’s pooch.

Ordinarily I am not that sympathetic to legal claims of psychological trauma. For adults. But this does make me wonder if this little guy will have a shock of fear every time he gets ready to release a full bladder for years to come. She should pay the $2,500 fine and sue for $500,000 after taking her son to a psychologist for about six months. See how the town fathers like that.

let me repeat that: BEFORE HE COULD PEE!!!!!
which means he was guilty of ‘thinking’ about peeing

If so, the charge should be amended to “Exposure”

Of course, the cop (I usually call them Police - at least the ones I respect) would have had to be pretty close to a 3 yo to observe his ‘tallywacker’ dangling like a chad.

So, in essence he would have been better of ‘peeing’ rather than exposing....

Must be a VERY slow news day.....<: <:

Watch out for the drones! I’d better also watch out!

No one comes by my place! When I unzip, suddenly it is a parade!

Cop should have said....”Boy, the future of America is in your hands!”

Excellent point.

Poor little tyke has probably been reprimanded for peeing in his pants.

Now he has been arrested for trying to keep his pants dry.

At 3 years-old he now has the trauma of being accosted by a cop for trying to avoid an ‘accident’.
