Skip to comments.Do you think any liberals are nervous tonight? (Vanity)

Personally, I have been a little anxious about the election tomorrow.
I watch Dick Morris's predictions and I feel pretty good. But then I check out DemocratUnderground, and it looks like those guys are REALLY confident that Obama's going to win tomorrow. They are so confident, that in fact, it sort of hurt some of my own confidence that Romney's going to win tomorrow. It looks like they have their own gurus and oracles that they quote, and they sure feel good about their chances.
What do you guys think? Do you think these liberals are all 100% confidence or do you think a few might be a little anxious too?
If anyone has an personal stories about an anxious liberal they know, please share!
It’s not just Obama that needs to be beat. We need a majority in the Senate.
You were probably reading my posts over there on DU hehehehe... That should tell you all you need to know.
Obama Campaign to Supporters: Dont Panic Over Early Exit Polls (Drudge)
My liberal neice did a posting on FaceBook intending to console Romney voters that life will still go on with another four years of Obama. I’d say she’s confident.
Nah, they are too dumb to be nervous.
I have not found a liberal who is worried at all. They know they have double the votes...since they vote so twice....seriously, I’m more worried than they are....it’s not a shoe in at all.....
Did you disinfect yourself before coming back to FR ?
I’m in the Bay Area in CA. I *never* get to see or hear positive messages about the GOP. And people wonder why I have a pessimistic view of most national elections.
“Did you disinfect yourself before coming back to FR ?”
I puked in the bathroom if that counts worth anything.
If there is any Democrat in any contested race anywhere - be it dogcatcher, sheriff, city commissioner, county commissioner, state senator or representative, congresscritter, senator, or president, they need to be worried because they are likely to be replaced before tomorrow is done.
They're all on crack, who cares.
They believe nonsense like this:
Nate Silver - Obama 86.3% - Romney 13.7%
Analysis from Brit Hume and Chris Wallace.
“If the turnout is 2008’s D+7, Obama wins. If it’s more than that, Obama wins. If it’s D+4, D+3, or a Republican advantage, Obama is toast.”
Let me ask you a question...
DOES THIS LOOK LIKE 2008 TO YOU????!!!
I think for the most part they are in their nice warm cocoon like bubble. It’s gonna be pretty chilly when it pops about 8:30 - 9:00 tomorrow evening.
They are planning sweet revenge.
Put yourself in their shoes...Would you be honestly confident if your incumbent couldnt get to 50% and Benghazi and “vote for revenge” hanging over your candidate’s campaign? They would be trying to appear confident if Romney were ahead by 60 points in the polls. Don’t be surprised by their bluster. Axelrod said that Romney was panicked because he campaigned in PA, yet Obama is in Iowa today. A month ago Iowa was supposed to be in the bag for Obama. I’m not buying it, I’m cautiously optimistic, but not at all impressed by the liberals’ noise.
That doesn't sound like the actions of a winning Candidate to me in the last hours of a campaign.
That’s drugs talking.
ANY Democrat pretending to be confident is just plain stupid and clearly drinking Obama’s kool-aid. Obama campaign this afternoon told them not to get discouraged when they start hearing the actual vote numbers coming in tomorrow. Why? Not because those numbers are inaccurate — they are — but because they still want Dems in the west to turn out so Obama doesn’t get smoked in the popular vote too. Obama pushing the head fake to discourage Republican turnout. Chicago pulled out all the stops, including psy-ops. Say your prayers tonight and rest easy. Tomorrow will be a good day for the good guys.
If the Rats just watched ABC national news they feel great and believe it is over. They would have heard the liberal talking heads proclaim Obama is now up 50 to 47. They would have heard that Early voting has gone 50 to 47 for Obama. They would have heard that Obama leads or is tied in ALL swing states. The would have heard that Obama looked very presidential after the hurricane and that reall boosted him up. THey will be confident that it is about over.
Liberals are very confident. The mainstream media and the vast majority of election guru’s like Sabato, Cook, etc, are predicting an Obama victory. And of course Nate Silver’s “model” gives them great comfort.
Tell your neice she’s too old for Kool-Aid. Plain water is better for her.
I temporarily forgot that scum exists. Thank you for reminding me.
Doesn’t matter. As long as they’re suicidal after.
I have no doubt they’re confident. As confident as I was in ‘08 about a McCain Landslide!
I figure there is no sense in being nervous. Sometime tomorrow night I will know whether to celebrate and dance on my coffee table or contemplate suicide. Until then, I’m good. And if you believe that....
Deficits of over a TRILLION dollars a year, stagnant wages, assaults on religion and the private sector, nationalization of the healthcare industry, and yet the demented communist in the White House still has the vote of 48-50% of the US population and might still win.
What that means is that this Republic will fall, but not before the Washingtonians rob every last dime from working Americans
The Republican Party is nothing more than a bunch of degenerate blue blood banker country clubbers who waged war against the sons of the Founders in 1861 and murdered the Republic via imposition of Universal Suffrage via Constitutional Amendment.
They have since conspired with the communist faction of their fellow Washingtonians to make slaves of the working man outside of DC, under penalty of imprisonment via the IRS and the DOJ.
The Washingtonians have got it figured out, and basically fight every 4 years over control of the cash extorted from the working class.
The RNC and their greedy pulled back wives aren’t much different than the DNC commies, it’s all a scam.
The problem with his predictions, and others like them, is that they presuppose a huge Dem turn-out that looks a lot like 2008 - while pretending that 2010 never happened.
I must admit that the polling seems very odd to me, even from the likes of Rasmussen. But if Michael Barone, who has forgotten more about US elections than Silver has ever learned, predicts a Romney win with over 300 electoral votes, that seems pretty solid to me.
Is she in line for a job looking for concentration camp locations?
No, not at all. There are very few signs and most of those posted are Romney/Ryan. Even in Chicago, which was plastered with Obama signs 4 years ago, the lake shore and downtown area are almost signless. I did not see one Obama bumper sticker in the vicinity of his south side home. Not one and I was looking for them. No, it does not look at all like 2008. Pray that the election result will not look the same tomorrow. I do think God will take care of us.
DUmmies live in an alternate universe.
When you listen the the DU-Types, you have to take into consideration the major (IMHO) difference between Libs and Conservatives.
Libs place huge trust in AUTHORITY and put very little effort into trying to make rational sense out of what they see going around them.
Conservatives are just the opposite. We reject AUTHORITY and count on our brains to figure things out.
Libs accept the idea of global warming, rampant racism and all the Oboma spin machine stories and lies without question. That’s just how they’re wired.
So Nate Silver is their God and he has spoken. That’s all they need to know.
I don’t know about anybody else but I feel like an expectant father and if Romney wins, it’s a boy. If Obama wins, it’s a girl...No offense, ladies!
I'm one of those who voted in every race but the presidency in 2008. Didn't have anybody to vote for.
Thought about Bob Barr, then said "Nah".
Semi-rational and Democrats? Surely you jest.
They are all orgasming over their oversampled slop that suggests the same turnout in 2008. Reality will hit them at about 7:30 p.m. tomorrow when the pundits are proclaiming that Ohio -- a state they claim they have in the bag -- is too close to call.
The liberal people I work with are confident. LOLOL!!
Looking forward to seeing their faces on Wednesday, just as much as I look forward to seeing Mika’s and Chrissy’s and Soledad’s the morning after.
In truth, these liberals ARE SIMPLY are LYING. They ARE SCARED BIGTIME.
I have more than 6 daughters. I see your point, but every one of these beauties was as welcome as our boy.
They must be shaken like a dog $h!tten’ peach seeds!
I turned my TV off after zero won, I can keep it off another 4 if necessary.
But won’t need to - GO TEA!
**** “Is she in line for a job looking for concentration camp locations?” *****
I think my Ex Wife wants to run one... she has the natural talent and I can vouch for her experience.
My niece (by marriage) works at a university. Safe job under Obama.
My nephew went on an overseas student exchange program and met her. She is a wonderful, caring and funny family member, but I still marvel that my nephew went to Poland and brought home a godless socialist instead of a Catholic capitalist. I think maybe someday she will fit the old definition of a conservative being a liberal who has been mugged by reality.
In the meantime, at least she is willing to offer cocktails to her political foes. There are a lot on both sides who are not capable of civil disagreement any more.
On the other hand, those with half a brain knows there is big trouble - but, many of them bank on voter fraud (more this election than at any other time.) So yeah, they're nervous as hell.
But at the highest ranks of leftist politics, they KNOW Obama is likely toast - yet they hope to pull off a narrow win with their massive disinformation campaign. Of course it won't work - Romney will win - bigger than they would dare imagine.
No, they are not worried. They thought Kerry was a lock, even before the fake exit polls came out. I think it is just in their nature to stick their head in the sand.
