Fantastic pix! Hi-Rise construction, (West Coast), was my gig before Ret. Those photos really bring back some wonderful memories. ‘DLDB’(Don’t Look Down Baby) was a common response to another tradesman’s “Hey, how are ya doing”? greeting up in the tower. Damn, a long time ago...

Back in 1961 - 62 I was an IBM Customer Engineer (Their name for a machine repairman) in downtown Manhattan. Between service calls I kept my tool brief case at the American Express credit card offices and helped service their machines.
When I needed IBM replacement parts for a customer in the Insurance District.....John St,. Maiden Lane, etc. I picked them up at an IBM sub-station at 220 Church St. That building was torn down to make room for the two World Trade Towers a few years after I left The Big Apple.
