“Perception” is very ethereal. Sales are what matters.
It’s hard to take anyone seriously who has Weiner as their last name.
Your mistake is listening to your political foes propaganda and believing it
They should litter the campuses with McDonalds.
Everywhere.
The students there should eat McD's every day.
Several times a day.
Day after day.
Month after month.
Year after year.
Till they are sick.
They can have homo-demo's in the lobby as well.
While listening to Mr. hope-change speech reruns.
Over and over and over and over and over...
No way they should be allowed the privilege of having a clean, wholesome, fresh atmosphere with good food, they need a few years with nothing but the semi-greasy tables and semi-real food to whet that keen appreciation for normal people.
It’s from the Washington Post. That’s like posting an article from PRAVDA, 1962.
Many companies WISH they had the free advertising Chick-fil-A is getting from all the recent publicity.
Check their profits at the end of the quarter. I suspect they will be WAY up.
So WAPO is quoting a site as if they asked 1.7 million fast food eaters what they thought of CFA? unreal. Some meaningless poll and WAPO dutifully picks up the lefty banner and runs with it. yeah no bias there sheesh.
YouGov’s methodology is to poll invited participants and then weight the results by demographics.
Thay have been fairly accurate in some polling (UK elections, X-Factor winners). They acquired a US polling Co in 2007 and I assume that is how they conduct polling here.
However, what people say they think, and how that translates into actions are two different things. For instance someone being polled, even anonymously, might want to give the perceived “correct” answer- “oh yes I have a lower opinion of CFA if they hate gay people” yet that same person might eat there tomorrow, because hey, the food is good and so are the prices.
Without knowing what questions were asked, it’s impossible to know what this poll really means, if anything.
And, does it matter at all? if it does not affect buying decisions, it just doesn’t matter.
Since I am going to Chick-a-fill EVERY DAY while they are in the news, I am more than happy to make up for the 2 percent of their (former) customers that believe that they understand the purpose of marriage more than past 5,000 years of recorded history.
Just went there today, and will tomorrow, and Wednesday. Hopefully later in the week things will quiet down a bit, so I can eat something else.
The left is so stupid! I’m not going to buy an Apple computer because I don’t like the way Jobs treated his employees. I can’t eat Ben & Jerry’s ice cream because they are two commie marxists. I can’t invest with Wells Fargo because some of their owners support gay causes. When will we get over this stupidity. As for me and all my Southern buddies w’ere going out Wednesday to eat at Chik Fil-et!
Funny. The DNC never worries what the lowest common denominator will do to its brand.
They’ve calculated that dim and amoral is the winning demographic. Especially if you don’t check ID.
That chart is bogus, something created by a 17-year-old with a pirated copy of Photoshop. The data are not real.
I find it odd that a distinct minority of the populous believes a boycott can win against delicious chicken, soup, waffle-fries, beverages and desserts.
Petitions may draw attention, but require a suit of some sort to proceed to the next level. And freedom of religion is going to be a hard nut to crack, let alone win.
As long as Chick-Fil-A has customers, I’ve no doubt they’ll be standing long after this popcorn fart in a blizzard abates and disappears.
“But instead of joining a culture war, it looks like Republicans should back off and let Chick-fil-A do its own damage control.”
I just don’t get the logic of the author here. She seems to be saying that GOP support has made the brand rating drop. I don’t see how getting MORE support from a large segment of the population, after liberals dump all over you, could create a problem. Why is she reaching this conclusion? I think the dip was temporary, and GOP support will make it rise again.
We're supposed to believe that endorsing marriage is bad for business, but advocating cornholing is a good idea.
I know the Washington Post is the newspaper for idiots, but can even THEY be THAT stupid????
Chickfila is by far the best fast food restaurant I have ever been to. Clean and very professional people, as if you feel like the people there have morals and respect for their customers. When on road trip, Chickfile is definitely the preferred stop. And this is coming from someone who hates fast food and thinks those daily fast food eaters are probably lazy people who cannot even plan their own meal, not to mention they are often bordering on obsese. **wheew, got that out of my chest**
Chickfila as a business and organization is superb... even in a low cost/low quality market like fast food.
This “Brand Index” impresses me as pretty much hooey.
“Sure, you might have billions of dollars and be wildly popular with your customers, but unless you are invited to trendy Manhattan cocktail parties and art gallery showings with Hollywood celebrities, you are nobody! No-body!”
“Because we say so.”
When I go to parties, I usually pick up a platter or two of CFA nuggets. They are always very popular.
Liberal mindset: “Chic-fil-A - nobody goes there any more; it’s too crowded!”
