This is a winner Video...apeaks to making America Independand of the OPEC war lords.
Newt talking for 30 minutes with no visible notes.
The best way to reduce emissions is to maximize the efficiency of the engine. There is a tremendous economic reason to do this. It doesn’t require a law.
Efficiency and improved technology is the better answer and it doesn’t require 535 lawyers to do it.
Believe it or not, I was thinking of improved gas mileage when I wrote “reduce emissions”.
My views are the same either way. :)
Must See.....and some Freepers believe Newt believes in AGW....that is unreal!
(insert pic of Newt on the couch w/peeeelosi)
He seemed to buy into it at one time, for political reasons?
Hopefully, he has seen the light.

1. The dog p**** that is sold today as though it was actual gasoline limits compression and advance (never mind the ethanol). Retune the engines for better gas mileage, several MPG on the highway right there.
2. Remove the 1000 pounds of crap, most of it added on by government mandates, and that would probably be worth 10MPG these days.
I would bet that a 90’s Honda CRX could be powered by a tuned, modern Prius-sized engine and get 70 MPG no problem. And if we were permitted to use small turbo diesels like they have in Europe, more than that.
This is just excellent !
Turbo Diesel would work even better.
Excellent video. Newt for President.
Excellent speech!! Little marxist heads will explode everywhere if he can get the Presidency! GO NEWT!!
Newt provided a nice summation as to what he has been saying at various town hall meetings. Perhaps more people will think a little about what he has had to say not only on the key issues summarized in this speech but many areas he has covered in my opinion, equal to or better then any of the other candidates.
That would be a keeper.
